“I will say, what a surprise. We pulled up place to eat and picked one. Never been before, it was great! Food was amazing, we got fish and tenderloin and it was very good, not dry, not heavy on grease, perfect. Cheese sticks, can't rave enough. Service was great, very friendly, always smiling and checking to be sure we was good. Must try!“

“It had been many years since we had been to the Root Beer Stand so it was high time to come back. It had grown a fair amount since our last visit which was great to see. The place was really busy but they really are streamlined well and there was not a long wait time. There is a bit of indoor seating but a vast majority of the seating is at picnic tables outside around the area. Everything looked great all around the grounds although you must remember you are outside and there are a fair amount of bees around so beware of that. I had a footlong chili dog and fries which were excellent especially the chili dog. Also had to have a root beer float which was legendary as usual as their locally sourced root beer really is delicious. This is definitely an awesome place to go on a summer day for sure and it gets my highest recommendation.“

“Today I am under the weather and don't feel like cooking, but definitely don't want anything to do with fast food. Brotherton's became my favorite option for this exact scenario years ago for both this reason as well as their large portions, excellent pricing, and amazing staff. For instance, I sent my boyfriend to pick up my order for the open face roast beef dinner tonight. I told the sweetheart on the phone when I called in my order that I am not feeling well. He came home with my dinner as well as 2 Styrofoam cups, one which contained a packet of hot chocolate mix, and the other 2 tea bags, a lemon wedge, and a container of honey, and told him to tell me to feel better soon 🥲 and I'm sure he was in a hurry and forgot her tip 🤦🏽‍♀️ so if anyone reading this knows what her name is, please leave it in the comments so I can bring it to her when I'm feeling better please 🥺 10/5 all day long 💯“

“I placed a carry out order. Feeling a little under the weather didnt want to dine in and get anyone else sick. I was in NEED of some chicken noodle soup. I ordered the family size so I'd have leftovers for dinner. Pickup was quick and easy and was waiting at the counter for me. Cashier was polite and friendly which was great because I was definitely in need of a pick me up this morning. I got some fried pickles which I probably shouldn't have, and they were super salty. But again, im under the weather so maybe my taste buds were a tad bit sensitive. Overall, I typically get their breakfast but couldn't stomach it with this cold. The soup was awesome and tasted perfectly homemade. I would be back for the soup forsure. 👌🏽“

“Decided to stop and try the chicken that you had to stand in line for 40minutes. Lot of people in line but service was slow. Need more people preparing orders. Also need better A.C. while standing. Fairly new place serving Guatemala recipe chicken. Hopefully they make improvements on wait time because the chicken is good.“

“I'm not going to lie I was not happy when I entered the restaurant after being on hold for 10 minutes to have curb side pick up, but I quickly realized even 5 minutes before closing it was quite busy! the gentleman at the counter was apologetic and kind, our food was warm, and my son loved the cookies.“

“The food was good.
They were short handed. I ordered on their website, it stated the order will be ready by 1:02pm. I decided to arrive 10 minutes later, but I had to wait an extra 8 minutes. Luckily I wasn't in a time crunch. If you're in a time crunch, don't order take out, unless it's something that's pre-made.
My portion was much smaller than usual...not much lettuce and spinach in my chicken pecan salad...it barely filled the bottom of the box.“

“I ordered the country fried steak for dessert. I had the pumpkin pie and I tell you I had the country fried steak at Cracker Barrel. I think I will always go back. To Bob Evans for country fried steak cause it was so much better than Cracker Barrel. I gave it two thumbs up.“
