“Family favorite for many different reasons. Food is always good. Only issue is that ever since covid (yes, I know it's been a minute) service is just a little slower, even when the resturaunt is not very busy. But the staff seem to always be in great moods and very pleasant!“

“I hadn't been to George's since my parents were alive but always had fond memories of the place. Decided to support them after seeing posts about awful people stiffing them on food.I have to admit, I thought it was a bit unnerving to ask me to pay for my food ahead of time over the phone especially since some may be using cash, but I understood after they got ripped off.I ordered a meal that came with biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and bacon and added 2 pancakes. I did not like the biscuits and gravy because the gravy had a weird herby taste that I didn't enjoy. I can't rate the biscuits alone since they were all covered up with the gravy.The scrambled eggs would have been good but they were cooked in some oily substance that didn't taste good, butter or nothing at all would be better.The bacon was crispy and delicious! The pancakes were big and fluffy and tasted great. I would get pancakes and bacon from them again for sure.My partner had the Greek plate and the only complaint was that for the high price it should include more gyro meat and tzatziki. Everything was however cooked well and tasty.All in all I'm glad we stopped at George's and hope to dine there again!“

Clearly it's a hidden gem..As in the Gem City's hidden gem.. check it out if you get the chance. It's a no frills type of place but you won't regret it. PORK TENDERLOIN! “Recently moved to the area and went here as we're still settling into our new home. The restaurant is in a great location along 741. The environment feels like an older sports bar/family restaurant mesh, but it's not dated at all. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly and attentive.We ordered drinks, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, a pizza, and children's meals. The loaded Saratoga chips were great. They're house-made potato chips covered in cheese, bacon, and paired with ranch dressing. The burgers were cooked to temp and very tasty. The chicken sandwich was phenomenal. The grilled chicken tenders were both flavorful and juicy. The mac and cheese was great!!We had heard great things about their pizza, but were honestly skeptical about it as we haven't had great experiences with restaurants that have a full menu and make pizzas. Thankfully, we listened to the masses, as the pizza was perfectly cooked and was absolutely delicious.We'll definitely be adding this restaurant to our list of regular dining options. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough.“
“The food was amazing. We got Grilled pork chops, fries, ribs, and a pulled sirloin wrap for our entrees. Then we got cheese curds for our appetizer. The food came out really quickly although it does depend on how busy it is. The server we had, Diddy, was super kid friendly, kind, and patient. The restaurant was well kept and clean. It is small but good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“Went on a miserable weather day when the Quaker Steak and Lube in Colerain closed early... went home to regroup... this place was local. Truly a miracle in disguise... for straight flavor, the wings were the best I have ever had... they were somehow flavored all the way through or something. No chicken bites or sauce bites, it was just all flavor. Not overly large wings, and the order came out to about 9, but they were delicious. Onion Rings were good. Little on the pricier side than I usually like, but it was depression cure.“
“Went to Doubledays' for dinner today, which is 2024 MLB opening day. Ironically, this restaurant which is named for the originator of the game of baseball wasn't able to show a single MLB game since they don't subscribe to the channels carrying today's games. Pretty disappointing. The food was above average and the service was good. Overall atmosphere is ok but lacking in personality. Friendly patrons.“
“Last time I was there, I had the Fairborn burger, and a side order of garlic bread. The burger was fairly standard, but quite a large one for its $10 price tag, so I feel it was a good deal. The garlic bread on the other hand, hardly tasted of garlic at all, and seemed to be a couple slices of French bread basted with a very thin layer of butter that had once been in the same room as a bottle of garlic powder. The fries are steak fries reminiscent of Red Robin's. The house salad dressing is a good choice if you like tangy vinaigrettes.The dining room is sparsely decorated, and some of the booths are not in the best repair.The service is always very friendly, and the man bussing the tables is quite the character. I can tell this place has a lot of regulars, and I suppose I may become one of them in time.The first time I visited I had the chicken and dumplings Sunday special, which was excellent comfort food and extremely filling. It's bottomless, but I couldn't manage more than that first serving.Go ahead and check them out.“

“I came here today from out of town with family. I ordered the protein bowl and requested no onions. Unbeknownst to my waitress, the veggies come pre-portioned and she didn’t know until it was ready to be served. Unfortunately, there were way too many onions for me and had to send it back. I was going to do without since everyone had been served but the kind and understanding waitstaff insisted it wasn’t any trouble if I got something else. I quickly settled on the biscuits and gravy which was great. I also appreciated how she recognized my young son several times. Not every waitress does that. Thank you!“
“It was a little busy and there was a wait after paying but they moved pretty quickly! We were seated, so we went to the restroom before getting our food, when we came back they had given our seat to someone else. Other than the server didn't appear for a while after we had almost finished our food, everything else was fine!“
