“I had a 5-star experience at this location. My server, Samantha, was wonderful
She knew exactly what to recommend, showing both excellent menu knowledge and the ability to read her guests.
I ordered the filet mignon from the premium cuts menu, and I have to say, it was cooked to perfection. In my experience, medium-rare steaks often come out either overcooked or underdone, but the chef here truly knew what they were doing. It was spot-on.
I personally enjoy A1 steak sauce with my steak, and usually I can’t eat steak without it. But this filet was so flavorful that I barely used any sauce at all, and honestly, it would have been just as delicious without it.
The food looked as good as it tasted, and the décor created a very pleasant dining atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the service. Managers were walking around greeting guests, checking on servers, and making sure meals were enjoyable. You could tell the staff genuinely cared about their work and even seemed to enjoy it.

“What a delicious meal we each had in a great atmosphere. Generous portions of the broiled fish and grilled chicken and greens. Our server was delightful, and prices were good for the quality of the food. We will be returning“
“Just went here for the first time and I’m honestly blown away. I was next door and could smell the bbq in the air and it was calling my name. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, the cheesy potatoes were flavorful and filling and the house bbq sauce was my favorite. So much more on the menu I’m excited to try!“

“I had a steak salad. It was good, but there wasn't enough dressing, only one little plastic container full. If I pay $20 For a salad, it needs to have enough dressing so that every bite tastes like the dressing. It shouldn't have dry spots for that kind of money, which is overpriced for a salad. I also had to wait longer than the quoted prep time before it was ready.“

“Excellent venue for ceremony & wedding receptions. Formerly a restaurant & train station. This wedding & event center is beautiful inside. The outside needs restoration and painted but so much history. Definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for a very cool venue & a historical site in Youngstown.“

“All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.
Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.

“There’s no way a multi million dollar chain food restaurants can be open and serve food to the public when the mens restaurant smells like absolute garbage. I visited this location a few times thinking oh it might of been that one time, giving them the benefit of the doubt; but ohh no it’s every time Ive gone to this roadhouse the mens restaurant smells like no one has cleaned it in a week.“
