“Trip one of which I know will be many completed this evening. What a unique experience with their smoked BBQ with a Caribbean twist. Even my 2 year old daughter was absolutely devouring the jerk chicken. Talked with the owner for a bit and he’s super nice and down to earth. Just a guy focused ln growing the business and making delicious food. The oxtail was absurdly tender and the Caribbean rub was insane too; really a perfect combo. I mean, who else is making BBQ like this in Pittsburgh? Wake up taste buds. Chicken fell off the bone and again, the jerk seasoning was excellent. Also got the baked beans, collard greens and Mac n cheese. All hit. Can’t miss spot and I’ll be back for their brisket and beef ribs for sure.“

He came out from the behind the counter to explain to us the menu. We placed our order he came to the table to check on us. “Had dinner at Dee Jays for the first time. Excellent! 5 stars. Ribs are the best I've had for a long, long time. The jalapeño mac & cheese has a hint of the pepper without the heat. Appears that everything is scratch made including the Margherita! Dee Jay's is our new destination restaurant. The service was excellent, too. You will not be constantly interrupted. And it needs to be pointed out that the restaurant & restrooms are very clean (no odors in the latter!). Check it out. You should not be disappointed.“

“They just did my wedding Saturday and they did such an amazing job. Not only with the decorations but the food was AMAZING. Everything that they made was absolutely delicious. Highly Recommend 10/10. Also they help us with a DJ name TJ and his wife that is a bartender they were also amazing I recommend all 3 if your throwing any sort of wedding or celebration. WORTH IT“

Everyone was very kind from being greeted at door to being seated served and leaving. There was team work in cleaning tables waiting orders and we were very pleased with our meals.

“We hired Ben to do a pig roast for my grandmother's 100th Birthday party on 8/10. I just typed pig roasts near Economy and Pipers was the 1st one to come up with rave reviews (I read all of them). Let me tell you, the whole process was smooth, Ben is very professional, answered ALL my dumb questions and assured me that he had it handled.....We had roughly 120ish people, didn't run out of a single thing, it's a great value for what your getting and the food WAS AMAZING!!!!!! That Honey Apple-Butter BBQ sauce is TOP NOTCH!!! I took a container of it home and will be putting thay sh*t on everything!!! Ben was so nice! Mingled with some of my family and let us take pics of the pig when it was finished and gave me the best part of the pig, the cheek! 100% reccomend cause you have no idea what your missing with that BBQ sauce! lol Thank so much! “Great food and terrific service. Hamburgers, wings, fries, and house chips are all the best in town. All of their food is well prepared and portions large. Also Great to just sit at the bar for a drink with friends. Hometown feel to it.“
