Trip one of which I know will be many completed this evening. What a unique experience with their smoked BBQ with a Caribbean twist. Even my 2 year old daughter was absolutely devouring the jerk chicken. Talked with the owner for a bit and he’s super nice and down to earth. Just a guy focused ln growing the business and making delicious food. The oxtail was absurdly tender and the Caribbean rub was insane too; really a perfect combo. Some of the best Texas barbecue I've had in Pittsburgh including compared to some of the heavy hitters like Big Rig's and Tastefully Blessed. Just a heads up: the parking lot is a little tight though

PREPARE FOR A FOODGASM!!! Rich, smokey, tender and juicy jerk chicken. Heavenly moist cornbread. Mac n cheese soull food Southern style. Hungry yet? This is the place to get your serious grub on! Portions are huge! I took my son there for his 21st bday meal and we ate good!!! Corey's charm and hospitality made our experience even better!!

Sokah BBQ & Catering is some of the best BBQ in Pittsburgh, offering incredibly friendly and personal service. The food is excellent and delicious, with many calling it the best they have ever had. The menu features excellent jerk chicken, pulled pork, and oxtail, along with generous portions like the firecracker shrimp appetizer. Sides are a standout, including awesome collard greens, great mac and cheese, tasty cornbread, and insane candied yams. The baked beans and fried cabbage are also highly recommended. Meats are available by the pound or in dishes like the popular Bahama bowls. They offer a variety of topping and dipping sauces, including a truly hot and tasty Mo' fire sauce. The quality remains impressive, service is quick, and they often introduce new specialties. It is more than worth a visit to support this local community restaurant.
