We travel quite a bit around the state and around the country for various types of food. I can only assume the gentleman who took care of my wife and I was the owner, manager, or employee of the year. Customer service was phenomenal. Genuine care for our experience was tangible. Raphe, the owner, refuses to pay me money he owes me from an incorrect paycheck from one of his other restaurants. He’s avoiding all communication.

Frank's Cafe is a great place to eat, offering counter service where staff bring food out to customers. The food is always amazing, with the BEST breakfast including an unbelievable Hot Pepper and Egg sandwich (with added bacon) and a West Coast egg sandwich. The hibachi bowl is soooo good, and the Hibachi Chicken bowl and lemon bar are both really great. Choices are very healthy, with perfectly made omelettes and French toast. The French Toast bowl is bigger, though there is no kids menu. The ambience is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal or a quick stop. Service is prompt and friendly, with cooks and staff who are super friendly and attentive. Some new staff seem less friendly, and one lady feels a bit uninterested. Portions can vary, as different employees do it differently. Overall, the food tastes fresh, and the great hot sauce selection is a plus. This hidden gem has outside and inside eating, right across from a hospital.
