Great kitchen staff have only delt with kitchen staff being I've only did carry out or catered out!Parking: Always Busy....Lots of parking”
“The food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly! We love it here! Fried chicken, fish, fried mushrooms, wings and turkey club with potato soup are some of our favorites.”
“I have been going here for 5 to 8 years and have always been satisfied. That being said I don't like that they have installed a new stainless steel shield blocking your view of the sandwich preparation process. You cannot see any of the meats or cheese. I like to see the freshness of the Tuna especially.”
“This is the cutest place! The ladies working here are so sweet every time I go in there. The food is always fresh and tasty! I highly recommend any of the iced coffees and their yummy salads. My all time favorites are their oatmeal cookies.”
“Such a great place. Great food. Great people. This will be a regular stop from now on. Can't wait to go back.Update 12/10/2022: Food remains great. There seems to be a lot of staff turnover recently, as I haven't seen of my favorite servers and bartenders (and Kelly!) in several months. Is the restaurant under new ownership?Update 3/18/2023: The food is still great. Lots more staff turnover, which makes me curious. They were celebrating St. Patty's Day today, so everyone was festive and wearing green. That said, I was a little put off by one server's green t-shirt as it had a derogatory political slogan on it. And you know which one I'm talking about, Brandon.I really don't object to her politics---I just think she's wrong---but I consider J. Marie's to be a respite from what's going on outside its doors. One of my best friends and I have had a regular monthly meetup at J. Marie's for about 2 years now and not once has anyone on staff even whispered (let alone advertised on their clothing) what their political beliefs are while I've been there. To be frank, had I been her boss, I'd have sent her home to change even if I agreed with her.Update 3/24/2024This is the first time I've had less than spectacular food at J. Marie's. I've come here from Toledo once a month for the last 2+ years. If I didn't know better, and I don't, I'd guess it's under new management again. The menu has scaled back and some old favorites are gone. But that's not the subject of this update. No, this time I ordered the hot Italian sandwich which is supposed to be served on ciabatta. Not this time. I actually paused when my server, the always amazing Autumn, set it down wondering if it was the correct meal. It was indeed the Italian but not on ciabatta. This time the sandwich was on what looked like a hot dog bun on steroids. It was larger than a normal hot dog bun, but had the exact same taste and feel as a hot dog bun. Further, the mac and cheese, once the best side on the menu, was just okay. It used to have a panko crust, super cheesy and such great flavor. Today? Nope. It was pretty run of the mill. No panko crust. Not as cheesy. The topping was just melted shredded cheddar.Today's visit was disappointing. I hope it was just an off day. I'll be sad if this is how things are at J. Marie's now. If it is, I'll likely change where I have my monthly lunch in Wapak.”
“Phenomenal homemade ice cream! Their prices are outrageously to cheap! I hope Wapakoneta area folks appreciate Krave Creamery because there's a lot of work that goes into really smooth custom made ice cream.”
“Stopped here for a bite to eat after visiting the Neil Armstrong museum. The menu had a good choice of dishes to suit most appetites. The food was good and the service great. Recommended.”
“Went there for the first time with my wife after she stated that she was in the mood for ice cream and they were right down the road. Glad we did! Lots of flavors to choose from and great ice cream! Highly ”
“Parking: There was plenty of parking next to the restaurant and to the rear of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors were wide enough for wheelchair access”
“First time coming here! Decided to swing in looking for hot breakfast items and was pleasantly impressed with the menu options!Tried their breakfast pizza and egg muffin sandwich. Absolutely delicious and hit the spot. Will definitely be returning!”
“Food and service was great. We went on a Wednesday evening and it was very busy. The kitchen was pretty slow. It took an hour to get 2 orders to go after we had already got our food. I'm sure if it wasn't so busy, the food would have came out on time.”
“You are welcomed as you walk in and chips/ salsa come as quick as you sit down! The food is always delicious but what sets them apart from the rest is the service! I love the margaritas!! I never know if we want a pitcher or half pitcher! Flavors are amazing, best around! The service is phenomenal and they all work to show, they deserve the best of the best tips! My favorite mexican restaurant”
“Beth has never disappointed. I could always count on Beth for delicious and beautifully decorated cakes, cupcakes and cookies. I was very happy to get my “ cookie fix” this past week-thank you”

Food to nourish, fill you up and send you on your way!”
“First time! Our waitress was great! Got to use for drinks then food order quickly, kept tabs on us for refills, checked in after we had time to eat some of our food to make sure it was good. Food came out quick and wow is it good. Everything was hot when they brought it out. Clean Facility with Character. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Plenty of parking. There are good spots up close. Handicap friendly. Kid friendly. Laid back atmosphere.Parking: Gravel parking around the building”
“Best chai's around. No matter what, if I am in Wapak, I have to come to Winans and get one!! Also picked up a sample of coffee for my son to make at home and he said it was good!”
“I’m a truck driver and I’m always looking for great food, they did not disappoint at all. The service was top notch, was also able to get the truck in the parking lot. If I’m ever out this way again I will definitely be stopping by for 2nds.”
“Three of us long wait on food. Food came out one at a time. First person almost done before second plate come out then second was half done before third plate came ”
“I love coming to this place and smelling the roasted coffee as I get out of the car. Definitely worth a visit. We have been looking for fresh roasted beans from somewhere local and you really can't beat the quality and price of this place. $13.50 for a pound of really nice, freshly roasted coffee. They are also very friendly and welcoming!”
“we got an 18 inch pizza picked our own toppings it was really good, the price was good as well. Best of all was we live about 6 miles from Uniopolis an they delivered to our home, we live south of 33 on state route 65. we recommend this place.”
“I usually, love their pizza. Disapointed, this time. Ordered deep dish, it was more like New York style. The crust was very thin, cracker like, the outer part, like an extra toasty cracker. They were the large, triangle slices. Hand tossed pizza had the same thin toasty cracker, type crust.”
“Great to see the old K-ville inn back better than ever. Woody's has kept the charm of the old place and improved the food which was already great. Can't wait until the patios are opened up for summer.”
“My daughter had a blast here. She really enjoyed that she could get a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The other food was good too, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere overall was inviting.”
“Nice wine / draft bar with a cool deck outside. Had live music outside. Wish they had more beers on tap (they have 4), but staff were nice and gave us a few free samples to help us decide on a nice wine. They do have maybe 20 craft beers or so in cans from micro breweries around Ohio”
“I brought the boys in for lunch today and just have to shout out and say the new bartender Barbra and new cook Wayne were fantastic. Food was great and service with a smile Thx !”
“It looks like they used the same color scheme as Subway...bread was a bit dry/old last time I was there. Time before that it was fine... won't stop me from going back however. I'll probably just ask about which bread is fresh.”
“Wonderful Cafe, The Bar is something you don’t see anymore. Tony takes time to if interested to tell some History on this Gem!!!!! Ever find yourself on 75 near Wapakoneta Ohio, find ALPHA CAFE 7 Auglaiza St. you will be glad you did.”
“I was needing a German Chocolate cake for a very special day. A wonderful friend gifted me one of Tammy's cakes. This is not only the best cake I have had since moving to Ohio 3 years ago, but it is definitely one of the best German Chocolate cakes I've ever had. Thank You K. And Thank You Tammy for the excellent product.”
