“Such a great place. Great food. Great people. This will be a regular stop from now on. Can't wait to go back.Update 12/10/2022: Food remains great. There seems to be a lot of staff turnover recently, as I haven't seen of my favorite servers and bartenders (and Kelly!) in several months. Is the restaurant under new ownership?Update 3/18/2023: The food is still great. Lots more staff turnover, which makes me curious. They were celebrating St. Patty's Day today, so everyone was festive and wearing green.That said, I was a little put off by one server's green t-shirt as it had a derogatory political slogan on it. And you know which one I'm talking about, Brandon.I really don't object to her politics---I just think she's wrong---but I consider J. Marie's to be a respite from what's going on outside its doors. One of my best friends and I have had a regular monthly meetup at J. Marie's for about 2 years now and not once has anyone on staff even whispered (let alone advertised on their clothing) what their political beliefs are while I've been there.To be frank, had I been her boss, I'd have sent her home to change even if I agreed with her.Update 3/24/2024This is the first time I've had less than spectacular food at J. Marie's. I've come here from Toledo once a month for the last 2+ years. If I didn't know better, and I don't, I'd guess it's under new management again. The menu has scaled back and some old favorites are gone. But that's not the subject of this update. No, this time I ordered the hot Italian sandwich which is supposed to be served on ciabatta. Not this time. I actually paused when my server, the always amazing Autumn, set it down wondering if it was the correct meal. It was indeed the Italian but not on ciabatta. This time the sandwich was on what looked like a hot dog bun on steroids. It was larger than a normal hot dog bun, but had the exact same taste and feel as a hot dog bun. Further, the mac and cheese, once the best side on the menu, was just okay. It used to have a panko crust, super cheesy and such great flavor. Today? Nope. It was pretty run of the mill. No panko crust. Not as cheesy. The topping was just melted shredded cheddar.Today's visit was disappointing. I hope it was just an off day. I'll be sad if this is how things are at J. Marie's now. If it is, I'll likely change where I have my monthly lunch in Wapak.”

“Stopped here for a bite to eat after visiting the Neil Armstrong museum. The menu had a good choice of dishes to suit most appetites. The food was good and the service great. Recommended.”

“You are welcomed as you walk in and chips/ salsa come as quick as you sit down! The food is always delicious but what sets them apart from the rest is the service! I love the margaritas!! I never know if we want a pitcher or half pitcher! Flavors are amazing, best around! The service is phenomenal and they all work to show, they deserve the best of the best tips! My favorite mexican restaurant”

“Love this place. The hard work and true passion for using quality ingredients really show in her cooking. I have yet to try everything but is a goal of mine! Cant go wrong with any of the post-workout smoothies or healthy bowls/wraps/sandwiches. A true local gem worth supporting.Vegetarian options: All sorts of healthy vegetarian/vegan options. Food to nourish, fill you up and send you on your way!”

“They have the best deep fried pickles Their pizza is absolutely delicious and are not shy on the toppings. We have never had a bad meal there and the service is always good and friendly. They have so much good food, I always have a hard time deciding what to get!”

“I love coming to this place and smelling the roasted coffee as I get out of the car. Definitely worth a visit. We have been looking for fresh roasted beans from somewhere local and you really can't beat the quality and price of this place. $13.50 for a pound of really nice, freshly roasted coffee. They are also very friendly and welcoming!”

“Nice wine / draft bar with a cool deck outside. Had live music outside. Wish they had more beers on tap (they have 4), but staff were nice and gave us a few free samples to help us decide on a nice wine.They do have maybe 20 craft beers or so in cans from micro breweries around Ohio”

“It looks like they used the same color scheme as Subway...bread was a bit dry/old last time I was there. Time before that it was fine... won't stop me from going back however. I'll probably just ask about which bread is fresh.”

“Stopped for gas & see a sign for BBQ - missed ribs because only Fri/sa/sun....but the salad w/smoked chicken was GREAT!! ...fresh tasty food totally unexpected, had some home made cookies on the counter for dessert too!.., and yeah filled the tank quickly !”
