We hadn't been there for several months over the summer, but I am happy to say that dinner this evening was right on par.
Cheddar burger cooked perfectly, fries hot and fresh. Teriyaki chicken flavorful, veggies perfectly al dante. Not to mention the garlic cheese bread! Always a favorite.

“Good food and food and good atmosphere but please train your servers to check on their customers. I sat there waiting a long time for her to come back. She never checked on me and never refilled my drink and I really wanted to order dessert but no longer had the time to wait. So no dessert for me. Guy across from me got star treatment and he got to enjoy dessert. She brought me more ketchup as one at table was empty then I never saw her again until I walked up to counter to ask for check and that worker was messing around on her phone and did not notice me standing there. I get I am not a regular but certainly never deserved to be treated like that. was considering recommending this place to friends and family. Please talk to your staff about paying better attention and checking on the customers. You were not busy today when I was there and it does not take much to bring someone a refill or to ask how things are or see if they need anything else. Thank You. Guess I will have to give rest of my business to another bakery today.“

“We had not been at Burntwood Tavern for some time but were interested to see their new menu items. We sat in the bar area near the patio and that was a great seat. Their Happy Hour had great food and drinks for great prices! Tegan was our server and mixologist and she provided great service and recommendations! We had the chicken sliders and a house salad. We also had the Southwest Chicken Salad and took home the Crispy Chicken Sandwich (we were in the mood for chicken)! All were delicious! The drinks and wine were also tasty. We love the new menu and the service was back to what it was when Burntwood first opened!“

“Really good food n cozy place however service was poor. Our waitress was very rude n even yelled at us when ordering, she didn’t come check in nor did she fill our drinks and was snotty the whole time. At the end we did not leave her a tip because a tip is earned it’s a privilege not a requirement. When leaving she came to our vehicles to yell at me n my buddies for not tipping again if you do your job you get a tip. She stated she only makes $5/hr n relies on those tips and once again I will say do your job and you will be tipped generously. Orrrr get a better job:) again the food was good but service was very poor“

The private room in the back offered a great atmosphere for our event—spacious and cozy, and the private entrance made it feel extra special. The convenience of free parking with lots available both in the front and back was a big bonus. The floral arrangements, which they did in-house, were absolutely gorgeous and added such a beautiful touch to the space. Elizabeth, the event coordinator, was a dream to work with—she was quick to respond to all my questions, offered wonderful suggestions, and made sure everything went smoothly. The appetizers were delicious, and the wine selection was top-notch. It was such a pleasant experience, and I can't wait to return for another event in the future! “The restaurant has a vintage ambience , little bit of old world charm. I had a struggle to find Vegan & Vegetarian options at the restaurant during dinner and breakfast. On the day of my departure, I came across M lounge, Cleveland Marriott East, and I met Mrs Gwen, she was very kind to listen and quickly conjur a toasted vegetarian sandwich for me and I was very pleased by this gesture. It is disheartening that in this age, Vegan and Vegetarian still find it challenging to find a descent meal while traveling in the US.

“Food was mostly good but our server sat at the bar on a laptop most of the time. I had to go up to her and ask for drinks after waiting for refills. The amazing hostess Brenda brought our food out for us and made sure we got everything we needed. Let me say Brenda needs a raise and is the absolute most sweetest woman I have ever met! She was working as hostess, takeout, and bringing food out all while we watched multiple servers sit in the corner of the bar. I truly hope you know what a gem you have working at your place.“

“Great diner style restaurant thankfully still operating and open early in the area that I was able to grab breakfast in before heading out for the day.

Since it was a Friday, you can order day-specific fish specialties - I forget exact name but it was a fish sandwich and I opted for Mac and cheese as the side.

It was a bit busy when I came in but there was still plenty of seating for anyone who came, (so this place is definitely larger than expected).

There is also a small below main level parking lot directly under the restaurant (recommend for any rainy day travelers or to keep your car a bit cooler from the sun).

Food was served within reasonable time and the wait staff were friendly but also very on-the-go quick pace. So it was very normal for them to forget the tar tar sauce for the sandwich (which I asked for at the next earliest convenience of the wait staff).

I also got a brownie hot fudge sundae for dessert. I think I got one of the more dried out pieces (it comes with two brownie triangles) but it makes sense since who orders a brownie sundae first thing in the morning? Only me. ?

I just let it soak in the melting vanilla ice cream and it was fine. Equally delicious as the other piece of brownie. ?

I used to order chicken tenders with honey mustard and Notso fries here many years back. I will have to return to try and get those next time if it's still on the menu (forgot to check since I was sleepy).“
