We stopped by on a whim while passing through the area and the whole experience was refreshing... the atmosphere was fun, food delicious, prices very reasonable, and our server Angela was very kind. We'll definitely stop back in if we're back in the area!

I always have liked the place.. Today my folks had a great time here and brought back a corned beef sandwich. For them everything was great until the Father’s Day sized corned beef sandwich they got! I saw it and said, well.. atleast is was likely only $5 bucks! Then I was informed of its price?!?

Hooley Pub & Kitchen.. what are you guys doing? $16 for this? No chips or fries even with it?? Future patrons- is this really what you want for $16? Reason for this post is simply to allow customers to see what they will be getting before ordering..

I’ve been to Hooley house in Mentor and Brooklyn. Both places the food quality was mediocre at best. The fries were weird and gross. There was burnt, black stuff all over them and the waitress told us it was pepper, just a lot of pepper.

It's a sports bar. Anything except for the alcohol is debatable. Mock-tails were basically just juice with some extra stuff thrown in, and the appetizers were somewhat lackluster.

Really nice staff, though.

Visiting the area for work and this location is conveniently close close to my hotel. In fact, there are three hotels in the area two of them walking distance to the restaurant when I pulled up I was pleasantly surprised the outside of the building was very nice. Even though the weather isn’t good today, there is a really nice patio area that hasn’t fire going in a nice chimney I was pleasantly greeted upon my arrival. There is the pub to your right with a large bar with a lot of seating and high top tables I ate in the dining room that had a selection of booths tables and chairs or high tops as well. My server was Miranda K. She greeted me very quickly helped me out with the menu. I ordered a side house salad to start and the small shepherds pie. The side salad was a very generous portion. I ordered it without tomato or onions and it still had cucumbers, spring mix, and cheddar cheese with a hard boiled egg sliced on the side and a lot of croutons. My shepherds pie. I was so happy that I ordered the small portion because I I got so full I didn’t even finish the small portion so I can only imagine how large the large portion is had I not had the sale ahead of time I probably could’ve finished my small portion. It was mashed potatoes over peas and sliced carrots with the hamburger on top and the Guinness gravy along with melted cheddar cheese, which was a nice twist. The Guinness gravy is very delicious. My server had thought it was a relatively new item on the menu, it was very tasty and I would definitely order it again. If I was in the area again, my server was very attentive and everyone in the restaurant was very friendly. They have adequate parking and a pretty decent size menu to choose from. Also noted that they do have gluten-free items as well.

We love The Hooley. We don't live close so we don't get to go often but we go when we can. Everything we've had there has been delicious, good portions, fair prices. Service is always great.

Sat there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come and seat me no one ever greeted me or talked to me so I just left.

Came in to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. Food was delish. And service was awesome .. Janelle took great care of our group.
