Five Points Drive In- Ice Cream & Dairy Bar is a classic ice cream shop located on a busy route. It offers a wide range of soft serve and hard dip ice cream flavors, as well as a variety of food options, including sandwiches and burgers. Customers have praised the BLT for being made to order with crisp bacon, toasted bread, and plenty of tomato, lettuce, and mayo. The shop has an outdoor seating area and is conveniently located next to a deli and general store. The service is polite and quick, though some customers feel that the young staff could be friendlier. Prices are noted to be higher than some other local options. The food and ice cream are generously portioned and tasty, including a creamy strawberry shake that has received positive remarks. However, there have been changes in the menu, including the discontinuation of the mt dew milkshake, which customers miss. The shop has a small dining room, parking for seven stalls, and a drive-thru, making it a convenient stop. Kid-friendliness is also highlighted, as kids are welcome.
