“We had 13 come in for dinner. It was busy. But there was tables and we did not need to all sit together. 5 of us stood there for over 5 minutes without being recognized. I asked the bar keep if someone will address us. He was pretty rude to me. We are busy. We will get to you. Just hold on. Ok thank you. I just was never here before and did not know procedure. Once seated, our drink order was taken by the owner. Then a waitress came and got food order. Kitchen was on top of it. Food was good and hot when it arrived. A nice menu to please everyone. Prices were reasonable.Parking is mostly off site. There is a very small lot. We were on motorcycles so we parked next to the building.Restroom was clean and not smelly. Looks like they may have live entertainment on some days. There is a stage. Large bar.Service was slow. Just being honest. But we were with friends so it worked out. I would come back for sure.“

“When you walk into a diner and it looks like a large living room with tables, you know you've found a good place.Carlyle's is such a place. There was a small wait as it was a Friday, and it was obvious that it was a popular local place. But I was sat quickly, and had already known what I wanted beforehand so ordered the Reuben. It came out quickly, and came with a side of fries.The fries were just about perfect; crispy but not hard, and seasoned but not overly salty. The Reuben was amazing. Everything about it was great, and the dressing was on the side so I could add as much as I wanted.I also got the Kentucky Derby pie, which the waitress described as "Chocolate pecan with chocolate chips" and I was instantly sold. Quite honestly probably one of the best pies I have ever had. I will definitely be returning.“

“This is an awesome place for any occasion. However, I particularly enjoy breakfast. The chicken fried steak and omelets are the bomb. My family frequently have lunch here with friends and family. “It's been so long since we've been here. I forgot how good the food and service are. Our server, Brittany, was fantastic, energetic, and super friendly. I ordered the white wine and garlic mussels and the admirals feast with a lobster baked potato and bacon mac and cheese, and my mom got the southwest plate ( I can't remember if that's what it was called or not something similar). The food was amazingly delicious. We will be going again soon.“

“My brother and I have come here twice in the last two weeks, visiting from San Diego. Service was good, quick and food was delicious. We ate breakfast both times and service was both great and food was warm. Biscuits and gravy is the best! All the food was delicious. I wish they had a Bob Evans in San Diego, Dennys has nothing on Bob Evans quality in food. Glad we got to try it:)“
