Mid week while staying at lodge we came down for dinner. Was not crowded but VERY understaffed. Took over an hour to get meals and there were only about 7-8 tables with customers. Our server was friendly but could have used help. Some of the meals were good while some over cooked and the Philly flat bread was burnt. We would likely not eat here again but it is the only place to eat unless you want to drive 25-30 minutes into town.
Food felt like overpriced frozen food. My father ordered the walleye fish and it had absolutely no flavor to it. He also ordered a baked potato with it and it wasn't even baked correctly. It was over cooked and dry. My brother and I ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo and the chicken was over seasoned and the garlic bread was hard as a rock. The only thing that was decently good was the salad.

We ate at the Christmas buffet on Dec 17. What a disappointment! Food is presented in a common area several yards from the dining room. Lukewarm and mediocre at best-maybe okay if it had been $9.95 at a truck stop! Actually sorta our fault as we had gone to the Mother’s Day buffet and were also not pleased but decided to try one more time hoping they had improved!
