After reading the reviews we were initially a bit hesitant to try eating here, but we decided to give it a try regardless. We were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful view and nice, clean restaurant. We were met with Sarah as our waitress. The food was all very good but her service was what made it feel like a 5 star restaurant. My wife and 2 grandkids had breakfast Saturday morning. My one granddaughter had pancakes , they were not done in the middle. My wife and I hade potatoes, they were cold ! Breakfast for 4 was $85. This is outrageous to pay that much for food at a state park. Food should be comparable to a normal restaurant prices. The Timbers isn’t nothing special. It would be nice to be able to have decently priced food and good food so you don’t have to drive into Cambridge to eat.
We had a lovely evening at this restaurant! Menu had lots of options, my catfish special was delicious, and the kids enjoyed their pizza. Great service and a great view too!
