“It was my first time in Ohio and read about this place. Stopped in and had an amazing conversation with the owners. They were unfortunately closed due to technical issues but offered me a free Sample platter for my troubles. It was one the sweetest acts of kindness I’ve experienced in so long. The real selling point was the food though. The brisket was juicy and flavorful and the greens were the best I’ve ever had. Looking forward to coming back and trying the a jerk chicken.“

“I Haven't Been To Longhorn Steakhouse In A Very Long Time So I Decided To Start My Birthday Weekend Off With A Good Steak . I Ordered The Outlaw Ribeye W/ Pilaf Rice & Crispy Brussel Sprouts And Glass Of Red Wine.. DELICIOUS!!! THE MEAL WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I'LL DEFINITELY BE HEADING BACK IN THE FUTURE.“

“Happened upon this restaurant from a video my son saw on tiktok about “hidden gems”. Hidden gem couldn’t be more appropriate! Being part Hawaiian, I’ve struggled to find good Hawaiian bbq outside of Hawaii or Florida. This place is amazing and in Ohio! I ordered the bbq combination platter. The bbq short ribs and bbq chicken were delicious! Authentic Hawaiian bbq flavor! The Mac salad, which of course is a staple in Hawaiian bbq cuisine was pretty spot on! My son had the chicken katsu and he loved it! Quiet atmosphere and wasn’t busy. Will definitely be coming back!
Vegetarian options: Fried tofu, veggie spring rolls, veggie dumplings.
Parking: Parking lot was large. Restaurant shared parking lot with several other businesses in the strip.“
“Wanted a Clevelander at the Heritage Fest but they ran out of Hotdogs and replaced it with a polish sausage. Needless to say…. It was spectacular. I will be driving to Ace Hardware in New Albany to get another. Best Bar B Q in the 614.“
“Driving home from the homecoming parade, I saw the truck and wanted to stop. I got to say the rib sandwich was awesome. However the fries were a huge letdown they were barely cooked and I ended up having to cook them in the air fryer home.“

I went there late night, around 12:30am waiting for my food. Some young lady approached me while i was sitting in my car. That hangs out around the area asked me when I get my pizza can she have a slice.“

“Been trying to catch this Food Truck ( Good and Tasty) in my area and have never been able to. So today it was go to them time. Ordered the Brisket Sandwich with sauce on it. Also got the Baked Beans, Mac and cheese, Greens and Green Beans. The Brisket was so moist and the sauce had a nice sweetness to it. Plenty of meat on the sandwich. The Baked Beans were definitely homemade with tiny navy beans, chopped onions, chopped banana peppers, pieces of pork and a nice thick sauce. Super tasty. The greens were made with pieces of turkey in the greens and I believe they may have a slight bit of sugar, they were super flavorful. The Green Beans were great, had little pieces of turkey in them also, a touch of sweetness also, they were definitely to die for. Finally the Mac and cheese, definitely baked with an old fashioned recipe. So creamy with a ton of cheese. I would say that it's somebody's mother's recipe. This was definitely one trip that was worth the short travel to it. Meeting Lugene Simmons the owner was definitely a pleasure. He is definitely a great person. He is working towards being able to open a brick and mortar business. Also being a Veteran makes all the difference in the world. So take time and check this place out, you will not regret it.“
