My wife and I happened to be in Louisville today, and while looking for a place to eat, we kind of stumbled onto the place. The burgers & fries were extremely good!!! We really wanted to try some pie but we were both sooo full. I’m about 2 hours away from there, but I’ll definitely be back just to try the pie.
I’m really disappointed with the quality of the food at the Whipple location. It used to be soooo good. I got a steak grinder on 2/24 and hardly any meat and what meat was on it was dried up and nasty. I cant believe any real cook would send that mess out. The waitress was nice. Not her fault. Normally, I love the peanut butter brownies at Grinders, but they sure don't know how to pack them in a to go box. They stuck both brownies in the same little box one on top of the other, so now half the frosting is on the bottom of the other. A simple piece of parchment would have helped. Just disappointing.
