“I have been to this KPOT location several times. Every time I have had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. Tonight we had an absolutely amazing server. AJ was very kind and provided exceptional service, which was so very appreciated after our 8 hour drive back home from visiting family. Honestly I don't know how KPOT keeps managing to go above and beyond our expectations each time we visit, but we are consistently leaving very pleased. “You can tell a lot about a place by how they treat people right before closing, and Papa’s Pizza Palace absolutely passed that test for us. We showed up about 10 minutes before they closed and honestly almost turned around because we didn’t want to be those last-minute customers keeping everyone there late. We felt bad even walking in that close to closing time, but the blonde girl working up front immediately made us feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. Not once did she seem annoyed or rushed, which honestly surprised us because a lot of places would have made us feel like a burden for coming in so late. She took our order with a smile, answered a couple questions we had, and genuinely acted happy to help us. That kind of customer service is getting harder and harder to find these days, especially late at night when employees are probably exhausted and ready to go home. It really stood out to us and completely changed what could have been an awkward experience into a really positive one. The owners should be proud to have someone like her working there because she represented the business so well and made such a great impression on us. And the pizza itself was amazing. Fresh, hot, loaded with toppings, and honestly some of the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. You could tell they still cared about the quality even right before closing. We actually drove about 30 minutes to try this place after winning a gift certificate, and after this experience, we’d gladly make that drive again even without one. Between the great food and the genuinely kind customer service, Papa’s Pizza Palace definitely earned repeat customers out of us. Places that still treat people this well deserve recognition, and we’ll absolutely be back.“

“Ok, first off I absolutely love this pizza. Dayton style is rather unique, very thin, almost cracker like crust. Cut into very small squares, just love it.
The sausage they use in the pizza is just incredibly flavorful and makes me want to come back.

My one complaint with this place, and I register it every time I eat here is having to pay for my pizza, then go get in another line and pay for my drink. I assume because they sell alcohol they can’t let the youngsters run that counter.

Seriously Marion’s, move into the 1970’s. This is just ridiculous in 2026.

I would honestly double my visits if it wasn’t for that stupid setup.

“We had our first visit to El Meson and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The entire restaurant is beautifully decorated and you can truly feel the culture and care that went into creating such a warm atmosphere. The moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our waitress, Stasha (I apologize if I spelled her name wrong), was absolutely wonderful. She clearly knows her job very well. From the moment she came to our table, she made an instant connection with us and was incredibly kind and attentive. She even took time to talk with the kids, brought them toys, and surprised our son with birthday ice cream, which was such a thoughtful touch. She also knew a lot about the menu and the events they host on certain days and made several recommendations — and she was absolutely right about all of them. The food was incredible: flavorful, authentic, and beautifully prepared. Everything we tried was spot on. “This is my 90 year old mother in laws favorite, so we thought we’d give it a try! Friendly service and a great meal at The Chop House in Dayton. We started off with an appetizer of spinach queso, it was full of flavor and the chips were light with just the right amount of salt. The grouper special was incredible and paired well with the rice pilaf and broccoli. The crab cakes were perfectly cooked, (she asked them not to cook hard...remember she's 90) and they made it just right, and the baked potato was spot on. My turkey and dressing was good, though the turkey was sliced a bit thick for me but my husband loved it, the dressing was flavorful and not too salty which is a huge plus for me. The homemade Heath Bar and vanilla ice cream were outstanding. It was rich and creaming and tasted soooo good!“

I ordered a white wine sangria which was actually only a white wine with a slice of orange and a slice of lime. I asked the server if I could get a couple of cherries and a splash of pineapple juice to make it actually a sangria and they charged me a dollar for it!!..same thing when I ordered a second one. My 15.00 chicken sandwich platter after adding a few extras..( cheese,bacon and buffalo sauce ) ended up costing a whopping $23.00. I never knew everything or anything that does not come with your meal is extra until I received the bill. FYI ala carte is a killer here.“
