“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.”

“I made my first Bowman & Landes turkey today and it far exceeded my expectations! I prepared it with a dry brine for 24 hours and then roasted and it was so tender and flavorful. I usually make a great turkey, but this is by far the most moist turkey. We'll definitely be purchasing next year!”

“I have been coming here for 20 years, they had a great reputation for the Q and and the value. They had started to serve smaller portions in order to not raise prices during COVID, and now they have raised prices and kept the portions the same. The Q is good but not great. They tend to run dry at times. If you are planning on picking food up through the drive through for the sake of efficiency forget it. If the restaurant is busy and you wanted avoid the wait, they have one cutting station and that one person serves both the restaurant, the pickup counter that is inside and the drive through. The drive through usually gets the short straw, long waits parked in line waiting for the cutter to get to your order. They might as well not have a drive through.”

“Came here for lunch with my lovely girlfriend. We sat at a high top table which was very well put together. Our server was attentive and offered us the freshest water in the Dayton area. I had a burger and my girlfriend had the Italian sandwich. They were both fantastic. We enjoyed our meal with a side of fries...while not symmetrical...fresh cut, crispy and delicious. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back and try something else like the French dip which was unavailable due to someone over smoking the smoker and lighting it ablaze. Fortunately the smoker has been fixed and the brisket will be back soon! Also the hand colored beer signs are a nice touch!”

“We come to Loretta's every few months for breakfast or lunch. I love the Philly cheese steak for lunch and I haven't had a bad breakfast yet. Service is fast and friendly and we always leave full and feeling well taken care of!”
