This place is amazing! 7 of us dined here during The Taste of Celina. Downtown Celina was extremely busy, especially Chouraku! There was only one chef for the hibachi side and limited staff. The staff busted their butts to make sure the best service was received by all! More importantly, the food was to die for! We ordered almost every different combination of hibachi, and everyone loved their meal! The sushi is also the best! If you love hibachi style food, you have to try this!
I have never been disappointed. With any restaurant, dining in is better than takeout. But still, good stuff! We usually get one or two rolls. Most are really good(imo) my favorite is either the spider roll, or the Ohio roll. My wife likes the Ohio and the bagel roll. Sashimi is ok(imo) I can eat the tuna, salmon and eel. Very good food and the table service with the Hibachi style cooking and serving was well executed. Very big portions. I can only speak to the table side Hibachi style cooking that we experienced. The veggie tempura was very good. The restaurant has two different sections so I am not sure about the regular sit down menu and service.
