“Wow. The French Onion soup was delicious. I also had the Tavern Burger which was fabulous. My husband had the beef melt sandwich and said it was delicious. My side of Mac and cheese was also delicious. There was an upcharge for this side but it was worth it. We'll be back.“

“Nice place with good atmosphere. We've eaten there multiple times and we once had a small event there. They were kind enough to reserve an area for our event. The food is good and the service is good. I just wish they they still included their house pickles with every meal, but they will still include some if you ask.“

“Our first time and it was wonderful! We stopped with our kiddos for a late lunch after some Sunday skyzone fun. It was also during football playoffs and we had never been so we weren't sure what to expect! ALL the servers were so friendly, everyone worked as a team to deliver a fantastic experience and great food! When we left our server told our kids to have a great week at school. I just thought that was so sweet. I can safely recommend this place for family fun as well as a great spot to belly up and watch Sunday football! A healthy blend! “Rated 4 stars because we had called for a large party reservation and then were told in arrival they did not take reservations which was delivered with attitude and rudeness from the gentleman at the host stand. Never had this problem before but he was sooo rude. If you have a large party go somewhere else.“

“This is a great divey bar that's off the beaten path. It's in a little strip mall off a side road. The beer is really cold and the burgers are off the hook fantastic. The service is what you would expect from a high brow establishment like this. I'll be back again for cold brew and crispy fries with a double cheeseburger.“

“All around great place. Every staff member is so friendly and welcoming. Brittney has an amazing talent. My daughter's and I attended a murder mystery dinner she orchestrated. We had so much fun. The plot was very intriguing. Each character was carefully well created. Because of the all details it's obvious she put a lot of herself into this. A true passion. “It’s definitely a “locals” place, everyone seemed to know each other almost. It’s a good atmosphere, it’s nice decorative and spacious inside. They have a dart board and plenty of alcohol! As for the food, it was ok, I think it’s a bit pricey for a Mac and cheese and chicken it’s 15 bucks that’s way over board. I’d say 10 would’ve been more reasonable. I think they need more then one person serving people too, maybe it was our timing coming in but one person for the bar and food that’s quite a bit. Otherwise it’s a cool place to mingle and drink.“

“I had a simple omelet, and my guest had a breakfast sandwich. We both enjoyed our meals, sides, and refreshments. The waitress was patient and courteous as we were in no rush to order or leave. She gave us an appropriate amount of space without ignoring our table. The environment was perfect for two friends catching up. Temperature was well controlled, and the nice music playing in the background aided in a comfortable noise level for a conversation. This was my first visit and I'm sure it won't be my last.“

As sooner as we walked in, 1st it was busy, but was greeted right away, by what I thought was the owner, ( later found out she was working in the kitchen) . The party room held well over 50 people no problem and having a separate bar in it was perfect. The 2 bartenders were sweet and patient. “I work close to the Bogside Pub and didn't bring my lunch and wanted a burger. I ordered the Holy Cow and tater tots. Online it was about $13 but when I got there I was told almost $20 I'm like what happened? I thought the total came with the burger and the response was it was an old menu. IM NOT SURE WHY PLACES HAVE WEBSITES AND DON'T UPDATE THEM ACCORDINGLY. She saw that I was a little upset about that and gave me $2 back, which is why they received 4 stars. The burger was good as FLuck!!!!!!! Man I will eat another burger there and be happy about it. I went in during lunch time and when I tell you it was a packed house! The people must have parked behind the building because there weren't any cars in the parking lot, which had me confused. An original pub/sports bar, with a juke box and TVs at every angle. Now there wasn't a lot of diversity in there...but I have a feeling the folks who run it don't care what you look like just that your money is green which is another reason why I'll return. But with friends LOLOL Everyone looked as if they were enjoying their food. Try it out But with friends...“

“I have been to this establishment a few times. I remember when shots were actually two bucks, but anywhooo I have recently just came here and it was trivia night and I loved the way trivia was set up by using our phones and I was in second place until I had to leave. For food I only I ordered all three (beef, chicken, buffalo) of the Empanadas and I honestly was not the biggest fan of them, my problem is that I do not like shredded chicken but I ate the regular chicken because the buffalo sauce was different for me and by the time I made it to the beef I was over it, but one of the neat things was that they put cheese inside and the crust was pretty good and it comes with a dipping sauce. Everyone that worked that night was friendly and attentive which are the most important things in the bar business. I recommend everyone to try them!“

Too bad he's only allowed till 11 former DJ of Ballentines now there is a house tech mix DJ..yuck..I and all my friends agree today's hits and popular dance tunes are where it's at. but form your own opinion and go see for yourself. Parking is available on streets and in a paid lot across the street from the front doors. There is a free lot to the east as you go down the hill and to the old city hall.
