“Went here for the second time and absolutely love it. The drinks here are amazing the attention to detail and the quality ingredients are top notch. The bartenders are welcoming and are on their game I don't know how they memorize all the ingredients in each drink. The price per drink I feel is more than fair for what you get they have a lot of competition with the speakeasy's on the same street and in my opinion they far surpass all of them in drink quality. The place is small and a little loud but it fits and the decorations of this place is like no other. Definitely will keep coming back.“

“With its unique design and solid drinks, High St Hop House is over if my favorite bars in downtown Akron. The bar itself isn't huge, but it's beautifully decorated - like I'd imagine a bar from the 1920s - and it's immediately adjacent to an art gallery sitting area where they occasionally have live music as well. Walking thru the gallery, there's a second bar at the back with curated wine selections. A unique space, good service, and a fine drink selection make this place a gem downtown.“

“I love this place and visit regularly. The food could use some attention because they don't have consistent hours where the menu is available. Stopped in at 7 and was not able to order once-- what?! But outside of that, all the bartenders are amazing! I do miss Kim and Krista. Morgan, Jake, and the others great still. I really love the patio and the laid back atmosphere. “I stopped in for a few drinks and some beautiful scenery. Noelle a woman so beautiful she makes Angels jealous came over to sit with me. I bought her a drink and we chatted for a little while. I got some dances and we continue to chat. The dances were amazing but what really made the night was the incredible conversation we had. Noelle and myself have a lot of the same interest and talked about a number of interesting topics in books. Noelle's personality and positive vibe make her a joy to spend time with. I will definitely be back to see her and discuss some of the books she recommended. She is a true and unique gem“

“Went back home to visit and hung out out with my family here. The whole entire night was a vibe! The owner was super cool and turned out that he knew my brother, who also owns a bar in the downtown Akron area. We enjoyed good music, good drinks and played darts. We didn't get around to shooting pool, but I thought it was pretty cool they have a quarter dispensing machine, so the bartenders don't have to be bothered with that all night. Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting them if you're in town. I sure will the next time I'm home visiting! Peace and Blessings ??“

“I stopped by for Christmas it was the only bar open, I got a Long Island and it was the best one I’ve had in a long time, the people were really friendly and nice, it was a fun atmosphere. “Easy access from 76 West a road we travel 2-3 times per year. We will now plan our trip around eating here! Absolutely amazing food, great presentation and so much of it!! Prices were fantastic, almost like they forgot to raise them for the last 10 years. The quantity was so much we all went home with extra that will easily make lunch tomorrow and maybe even dinner too! This is a hidden gem. The best part was Cheryl our server. She was superb. Happy, excited, full of energy and loud. I say loud because that was a huge benefit. It’s an open atmosphere and it wasn’t noisy at all but she spoke so sharp and clear and I just really liked her. She is also the person that answered the phone when I called 3.5 hours East of her asking if they would be open when we arrived. Her personality really sold me on the phone that this is the place I wanted to take my family to eat dinner before we continued our trip West. 💯❤️ everything ‼️“
