Livy Cakes & Two Roasting Joes

This little shop is so wonderful, the coffees they have are all really tasty and hey have so many homemade treats and some local business items for sale. We ordered a couple dozen cupcakes for our wedding this past weekend and they all came out absolutely delicious! We even asked for a PB&J flavored one and it was the absolute best! The designs were so cute on them as well. Highly recommend !

We have bought multiple cakes for my kids over the years and have never been disappointed. Today we celebrated my youngest baby’s 2nd birthday with the cutest cake yet!

The taste was great; multiple layers of moist cake with small layers of icing between. We did the top tier chocolate, and the bottom vanilla. Chocolate is usually dry at some bakeries so I’m always leery about ordering it but the whole top tier of this cake was devoured.

I communicated through email, as my sister and I both usually do with this business, which went very smoothly. I changed the date of the party soon after my original message and it was accommodated professionally. I sent three inspiration pictures and gave a detailed description of what we liked on each cake. She combined all of the elements perfectly for us! It turned out so cute that I was sad to cut it!

Upon pickup, I was greeted when walking through the door. The lady and gentleman were both nice and professional. I had the baby in tow, so the man carried the cake out to my car for me.

A great experience from start to finish, as always. Thank you all for helping to make our day a success!!

I cannot say enough good things about Two Roasting Joe's and Livy's Cake's. Best coffee in town and frankly Ross County. Cakes are amazing. Go in, you won't regret it

I needed a birthday cake for my cousins birthday. So I messaged Livy cakes on facebook. My cousin is… unique. Really loves chocolate. Really into race cars. Okay, so maybe not so unique but still not something I thought I’d be trying to order from multiple cake shops. Livy was able to actually work with me and help pick out some designs that really would make him happy. Bonus… when talking to Liv she let me know she does cakes for pet birthdays. My wife was going to be busy this year in training during our border collie’s adopts-day and Liv was able to help remove this stress from her schedule so we could all celebrate and enjoy.

The only reason I give 2 stars, although giving 1 star for the 3 categories. Within the past 48 hours, (9/15/25) a few friends have told me the atmosphere here has a super positive vibe.

Had it not been for that, my rating would have been 1 star. The work week starts on Monday for the majority of folks. The name says it all Two Roasting Joe's and Livy Cakes.

Why do people go to Crispie Creme? coffee (Two Roasting Joes) and donuts (Livy Cakes) making assorted pastries 🍰.

I feel like this business is missing the mark by marketing a coffee business and custom cake/pastry/dessert/special occasion business. The problem being is it not open Mondays when the majority of us need the specialized services that you're able to provide.

I drive by this business everyday, I am not a coffee drinker. My amazing significant other's birthday is coming up. To her, theres cake, AND THEN THERE'S CAKE.

Now I am forced to troll 🧌 Facebook to look for a suitable alternative 🙄 🤔 😐 😳 Good luck to me ✅️.

Stopped in while driving through the area, the coffee itself was good and there was a good selection of coffee as well to choose from. Girl working was super friendly. The cookie was just okay. Would definitely come back for coffee.

The maple iced coffee is amazing! Passing through town and stopped by here. Did not disappoint. What a treasure!

We were driving through town and stopped for dessert. We got 6 different cupcake flavors, but all kind of tasted the same and were dense and dry. It was later in the day, so maybe they just weren’t fresh. Unfortunately, it’s didn’t satisfy our sweet tooth and we looked for another local bakery to spend the money again.

WOW! So happy I found this little gem! Great staff, loved the coffee selections. And such yummy filled cupcakes. This will DEFINITELY be a repeat for me!!

What sort of “local” business orders their product from Walmart and then DOES NOT tip their local delivery driver ?Over a 100 dollars in cake mix and they think it’s okay to have it delivered for free. Safe to say I did not accept that order. Who in their right mind would shop for 100 boxes of cake mix and deliver it for no tip?This is one local business I will not be supporting.
