Very yummy food! A little bit on the pricer side so be ready for that. But my food was delicious.

I walk by this place most days and I genuinely enjoy Indian food. I read the reviews on Google before going and I still gave it a shot. People are right it is a bit outdated and so is the tableware. It's like eating at your poor relatives house. I order the same thing every Indian place I go to; chicken tiki marsala with some garlic Naan. So despite the atmosphere I still anticipated my food. The food arrives and the tiki marsala sauce was just sour like unnapetozingly so and the chicken was red. I've never seen red chicken before especially after being cooked so I'm disappointed and feeling grossed out. But I'm hungry and it's my lunch break so I just throw the rice on the garlic Naan and I eat 2/3rds of it and I bite into a spot that was just gross. At this point I'm fed up and looking around and I am just imagining how gross this kitchen must be. I stand up, pay for my food at the counter and leave. I wasn't rude I just left hungry and disappointed and head back to work. Such a disappointment. The only positive thing was the server seemed really nice and I still tipped her knowing it's not her fault.

Amazing! We got takeout here while in town for a homeschooling convention.Everything was sooo delicious. We got Chicken Korma, Chicken Rogan Josh, and paneer naan. The chicken was perfect. You could cut it apart with a plastic fork! The hostess asked unprompted if we needed to go plates and plastic ware (which we did). We barely got over to listen to some salsa music across the street at fountain park for a couple minutes, then came back and the food was already ready for us. Nice!Definitely going to eat here whenever we are in the city.

Mango lassi used expired milk. The server said the AC was off when they fermented the yogurt… Now my mouth tastes like expired yogurt until I get something else. The tap water also tastes metallic, they don’t use filters. I would assume they use the same water to make the curries and rice, might not be healthy. Im not going back.

We arrived in Cincinnati traveling through the midwest. We had a taste for Indian food and this place was just a block away from our rented loft. We walked in between 8:00 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. on Sunday night. According to Google they closed at 8:30 p.m., so we thought we'd get seated, order some Butter Chicken and be out by 8:45 p.m. We walked in and they asked if we ordered take out. "No, we'd like to dine in." "We close at 8:30" "Does that mean we can't eat?" "We close at 8:30" "We aren't clear, do you want our business or not?" The two of them stared at each other and didn't know how to answer. After a long pregnant pause they said, "ok, I guess we can seat you." (There were two other tables eating at the time.) I turned around and left. I didn't want to have to feel gratitude to them for seating us, and then if we didn't order ASAP get a smirk from them. Why do restaurants say they are open till 8:30 and then not take a customer at 8:05 p.m.?? I thought we were too frequent restaurants because they suffered so much during the pandemic. If they aren't willing to stay open to serve their customers 25 minutes before closing, then I have little sympathy for them.

The only complaints I would have are that there weren't more people there enjoying their food and that I couldn't eat more because I was full. I got their shrimp and lamb curry and it was great

Just visited for dinner, what a run down place. Looks filthy, old, who said it has its charm? Everything looked dirty but still gave it a try because of the good reviews. This place is not appealing one bit. Their serving ware looked really old like it has never been replaced, the aluminum plates they serve the food in are so light that even with the food in it, you have to hold them with one hand because they keep moving all over the place. The flooring (old green carpet) is nasty and the restrooms were really ugly.. The food mediocre at best, bland, no indian flavor. One of the worst indian places I've tried. Really, how can a place like this be rated over 4 stars????? Totally misleading, I do not recommend..

The chicken was nasty and the sauces was nasty other than it was good.

After trying most of the Indian restaurants in the area I think this is our favorite!

Delicious food and really nice people. I ordered a chicken vindaloo, naan bread and poppadom. Highly recommend the place.

Good Indian food! Lunch portions are just about perfect. Level 4 spicy wasn't spicy at all, so I'd add a level to your usual spice tolerance. Great place to go. Good price, seating, no wait, good nan. I would go again.

I can’t believe in that rating! What are you guys talking about? The first is rice! It’s not the Indian way to cook it ): if you know for the instance what is right about Indian cuisine in North and South, or if you ever been in California where is the Indian cuisine is very popular and authentic. Well, I’m too frustrated. Even aroma from my food was bad. That is why Ohioans don’t like an ethnic cuisine! Because of those places that cook a kind of terrible food and call that as an Indian one. If you want good food as me, try Shaan and Ambar and share with me more cause I’m looking for more places to eat and enjoy my Indian food
