Fabulous experience! We tried the fried alligator for our appetizer. It was wonderful. Very tender and tasty. Then we ordered a few different items so we could both try them. We shared the chicken and sausage étouffée, the gumbo and the jambalaya. All were fabulous. Very flavorful and a little spicy. We usually do not get desserts, but we ordered the beignets. I don't eat spicy food so I probably shouldn't have decided to go there for dinner. We had the crab cakes. They were good, not the best I've ever had. Lived in MA for 3 years, seafood here just doesn't taste the same to me. Fried green tomatoes were good, not mushy like other places I've been. I had the Shrimp and Grits because listed as tangy. Went before a show at the Aronoff for a birthday celebration and they were very conscious about our time and offered a complimentary cocktail. The Shrimp and Grits were amazing and would have loved to try many more things from the menu. Atmosphere was warm and cozy along with the great decor.. Service was top notch. Will definitely return. Compliments to the chef.
