What a cool space in the ever-awesome Northside! Hubby and I went to a Saturday night sketch comedy performance last weekend for the first time. We had no problem finding nearby parking (free street parking!). The space was pretty cool. As you enter, immediately on your left are steps leading up. You buy your tickets there (and return at intermission for refreshments) and then head back down a different set of steps to the performance space. I really dig this place. I appreciate their efforts to host live music, particularly live jazz. The Lounge Sessions happen every Monday night. It's a jam that has been very well attended each time I've gone. The house band plays a set up front, which is usually pretty incredible. There is a full bar and plenty of seating for when you're not sitting in to play. Liberty Exhibition Hall is the perfect place for an eclectic community to find a home in celebrating the arts.
