Crafty Crab Seafood & Bar

Very cozy spot. Appropriate theme inside. We went right before a rush came, so it was quiet, but then got lively. Service was great, and our waitress was attentive to our needs despite the growing number of customers. Overall, I give 4/5 and would definitely return in the future.

Tried it for the first time and have to agree with the other reviews. The service was terrible. We went at 5:30 and they had one server and one hostess on the floor. Our waitress seemed annoyed I asked for drawn butter although at the moment there were only 3 tables. Since she never came back to take my check I had to go to the front desk. A large party of seven came in and the hostess told them there was only one server so would have to wait awhile. Then she told us she was sick of working there. Place seemed miserable. Over priced for small amount of food combined with poor service.

What would we do without the crafty crab?!?! My husband and I don't eat out much but the crafty crab is at least once a month! Their food is fantastic and has saved us on many a Friday. We usually order to take it home and have never had a problem. We ate in once or twice and the waitress could have been friendlier. I would not let that ruin a good review though. My husband says that we would shrivel up and die without their amazing seafood. We always recommend to friends in the area. So glad we live just 5 minutes away!!

We used to enjoy eating here. The place has really gone down hill. The food on the walls and windows in our booth really grossed us out. So much so, we left before ordering. If this is the standard of cleanliness where the customers are, I can only imagine how awful the kitchen area is. I was in the Food and Beverage industry for many years and what I experienced here was just unexceptal.

I had high hopes for the Crafty Crab. I ordered the catfish platter, the gumbo and calimari. The catfish was prepared well, but was not seasoned. On the other hand, the fries were well seasoned and tasty. Usually fries are over salted. These were perfect. The gumbo reminded me of Campbell's vegetable soup. It had no seafood references in the flavor. The same is true for the calimari. No flavor. The young lady at the counter was polite, courteous, efficient and funny.

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time tonight and, although it was packed with a line waiting to be seated, we were seated in less than 10 minutes of walking in. Airian was our waitress and she did a great job checking on us and waiting on her other. She’s a great team worker and was very friendly to customers. The food was great and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

My mom and I decided to get takeout from this restaurant last night. However, when we returned home, we discovered that all the food had been overcooked and inedible. Despite trying to contact them multiple times (seven or eight times, to be precise), their phones were unresponsive. We finally managed to reach them today. When we spoke to the manager, Amanda, she was incredibly unhelpful. She informed us that since we had discarded the food (as it was no longer edible after our repeated attempts to contact them), they could only offer us a 20% discount on our $80 meal. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for a considerable amount of time, I can confidently say that I have never been asked to return a take out meal. The most frustrating aspect of this situation is that if their phones had been functioning properly, we could have resolved the issue yesterday. I'm a firm believer that you should get what you paid for and what we got was definitely not worth $80

I placed it to go order tonight for a king, crab legs, and shrimp. I’ve tried to call 7 Seventimes and the phone system will not let you get through The shrimp is so tough. You can’t even eat it. I don’t expect to pay $84 for food and it not be edible. .

Very expensive. 2 clusters of crab legs is not 1lb. Make your own at home! Kroger 2lbs $29.99 with 6 cluster of crab legs frozen!
