Crown Republic Gastropub

Fun lively casual environment. Service was excellent. Pasta dishes we ordered, squid ink with lump crab meat and mushroom pasta were delicious but very rich. Farro salad had many yummy ingredients but was overdressed.

First time dining at Crown Republic and we were very pleased. The food and drinks were excellent and thoughtfully prepared but what truly made our dining experience amazing was our waitress Serena. We drove straight to dinner from Columbus and had 4 hungry children with us and Serena was very patient and accommodating. She paced everything out perfectly for us while giving great recommendations and friendly service. I come from a background in fine dining and we felt like Serena went above and beyond, it was a pleasure dining with her. We all left feeling like we had a great dining experience and hope to come back again!

Crown Republic is one of my favorite go-to places! It was my boyfriend's first time having dinner there and he loved it. The burrata with tomato jam is my new favorite appetizer. Can't go wrong with the meatballs either.

FANTASTIC BRUNCH SPOT The Food was fresh, hot, and amazingly delicious. The Services Top Notice, and they have so much love for their restaurant our waitress even has the Logo Tattooed on her body. If that doesn't say I believe in this I don't know what does. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and tried CRG for the first time on Saturday night. We started with the Everything Knots and the General Tso Cauliflower. We enjoyed the cauliflower more than the knots. The knots were fine- not great. The butter served with them was really flavorful (I wish I had them include some in the to-go box for leftovers). The knots themselves were a little heavy. The cauliflower was crispy and had a great flavor and the serving was large enough that we had some to bring home with us. For the main course we shared Bolognese Rotolo. It was really good. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the Bolognese sauce was equally tasty. It was plenty for both of us to share and we still had leftovers to bring home. We ended our dinner with the flourless brownie topped with meringue, ice cream and salted caramel sauce and it was absolutely divine. The brownie was warm and delightful. The meringue was nicely toasted and gooey goodness. Overall we loved CRG and plan to return to try different items on the menu.

Delicious food and great service, the cocktails are creative and balanced. For the upscale atmosphere it was surprisingly affordable for 2 people. Short 20 min walk from the stadiums.

Crown Republic consistently delivers great service and very good food. It's had a business dinner here last night and the staff did a great job.

I had the squid Inc pasta and garlic knots. It was awesome. In addition, the old-fashioned are over the top delicious wonderful and perfectly prepared. This is one of our favorite places to dine and they never disappoint.

The food was good but the noise level is to high. We could hardly hear others in our party talking without almost yelling.

The food experience was excellent. The noise level is always high (not energetic) because the space has little to no sound-absorbing materials....always loud. The service started attentively, but as per our prior experiences, later in the experience, our server was more absent and attentive to other details.

We recently visited the GastroPub for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, with a menu that goes well beyond typical pub fare—offering a creative and diverse selection, including plenty of vegetarian options. Service was attentive and efficient, even on a busy night, and our meals arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our only drawback was the noise level, which significantly impacted our dining experience. The interior features all hard surfaces that reflect sound, creating a loud and distracting atmosphere. Adding sound-absorbing materials to the ceiling could greatly improve the acoustics and overall ambiance.

Crown Republic is possibly my favorite Cinc restaurant. Food is fabulous, service is always great too. Great stop on the way to the Theater

Husband loved the burger. The salad was great with their grilled chicken. The garlic knots were basically a dinner roll with everything bagel seasoning. We didn't really care for them or the vegetable butter they came with.
