Wowww I don’t often leave reviews but this place deserves 5 starts and more. I was there a few days ago, going back today and next week because it’s that good. The lunch special is a big container enough for two meals if you can keep yourself from overeating and it was only $14. It was delicious and served fast.
Only downside is that I don’t think they put too much effort into the space for people who want to dine in but it doesn’t matter. We made it work. Please support this local business, I hope they can expand

I couldn’t eat my food because their bathroom was extremely dirty. Does this place gets regularly inspected? How is a bathroom this dirty allowed to exist inside of a restaurant??

Placed a pickup order, said ready in 30 minutes. Get there, the door is locked despite closing at 10. I call, nobody answers. Lady opens the door and stares at me without saying a word or holding the door. Go inside, lady at the counter is rude and the food isn’t ready. I understand Senegalese food very much involves seafood but there’s really no reason for an African restaurant to reek of fish when you don’t even get that at Papa Deux’s or any seafood place. I was really excited to try food that gives me good memories and this place disappointed me.
Please don’t waste your money, time, or energy on this place.
Update: I threw the food away. Such a shame, I hate wasting food but it was oily, slimy, and was separated like a broken roux.

Worse place to eat at. They are extremely racist and thats crazy because your african in America. The land of inclusion they will skip over regular paying custom to help they friends and family. Pretty much if u dont know anybody there u gone be waiting a long long time. Super rude! Place is dirty, staff rude. Definitely alot more better places to go then here. Terranga,221, sene grill ( osman the owner would never rrqt anybody bad) yummi express, island Fridays way better
Everyone is so friendly, I’ve been eating here since working in Cincinnati last year to the point where now that I don’t work in Cincinnati I was willing to drive 40 mins just for the food! Love this place

Restaurantji Recommends
The best Senegalese food I've ever had in the US. It is superrrrr authentic, and it hits the spot. I've only ever tried their thiebudienne, but it's delicious and very comforting. The atmosphere is ok, I'd recommend getting take away and eating outside on a nice day.
