Emery was a wonderful experience in terms of atmosphere, service and especially food. The food was beyond delicious....at a reasonable price.

I came here for the lobster crab shrimp BLT and I thought I found the love of my life but not this time. I wish the filling of the seafood portion had more texture with pieces of meat. It puts me in mind of tuna salad. It’s a cold sandwich but the filling was ice cold. The French fries could use improvement as well. Overall the food wasn’t nasty but I wouldn’t order or recommend it. Over priced as well for what’s given. The restaurant is beautiful and I will definitely come back to try another dish. I sat at the bar and the young lady who took my order was very pleasant which is why I ate in.

Came to Emery to celebrate a friend's retirement. We had decided on seafood and when I saw the photos of Emery, I knew this is the place. We missed the building because the trees outside hid the sign. The inside looks much bigger than the outside. I think there's an upstairs dining area. We were seated by the windows looking out into the patio. We started the meal with a cocktail. The elderflower and pear cocktail was wonderful! For appetizers we had the crispy pork belly buns and calamari. The buns were recommended by the wait person. The calamari was our choice. We were hesitant about that because although the dish is simple, most places will have it wrong. The batter will be too thick and all you taste is the batter and not the calamari. Emery got this right. The batter was very light and the flavor of the calamari still comes through. Two of us tried the clam chowder. Thinking that it is the usual white creamy type, we were pleasantly surprised by a bowl of light creamy soup filled with clam meat and bacon bits. It was the best clam chowder we have had. Definitely a must get dish. For entrees, we had the be recommended walleye, the chicken and the the pasta dishes. Every dish was fantastic. The walleye taste bland and plain on it's own but with the crab meat on it and the sauce, it was tasty. The chicken and mushroom is so good. I tasted a piece and love the mushroom with the tender chicken. One person in our group who seldom finish a pasta dish finished the whole dish. That's how good it was. Highly recommend Emery if you are celebrating a special event.

In my illustrious culinary career, I can spot a place that, while they may not have 2 Michelin Stars on the door, this place definitely deserves it! I HIGHLY recommend you order the scallops and then watch the Chef sear them to perfection because the open kitchen concept is part of their lure!
The atmosphere was very inviting, the staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was good, not outstanding. All meals (party of 6) were served lukewarm at best…broccolini was cold. We did let the server know, and one side of mashed potatoes and broccolini were brought to the table, which we gave to the birthday girl. If the food would’ve been hot, I think we would’ve enjoyed the meal , we did enjoy the atmosphere and the yummy drinks.

What a treat! My wife and I celebrated her birthday here last night. This is a fantastic spot for a special occasion or just a night out. The service was excellent. Our needs were met, but we didn’t feel rushed at all. The food: wow! I ordered the twin filet and my wife the short rib. Both were absolutely on point. Cocktails were also spot on. It was a little loud, but as someone with hearing issues, everywhere is, but it was not a detriment to the evening. We will definitely revisit.
Great place, hands down. Excellent service, drinks and the food was out of this world. It was loud, but everywhere seems loud to me. It didn't take away from the experience. We will revisit.

My husband and I dined at Emery for the first time Saturday night to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely amazing. We had the whipped feta appetizer, the short ribs and the lobster and shrimp polenta. I don't think I've ever eaten better and the service-waitress Stevie- was excellent. And the ambience was so relaxing and inviting. It was absolutely an incredible dining experience. Can't wait to go back. My new favorite place!!
Lobster polenta is not to be missed! Others in our party had the filet (5stars) Salmon (5) and the beet salad (also highly recommended). Great service too as the pace of the meal was relaxed not rushed. The bar area seating is the cool kids but the upstairs is fine as well. Our waitress was very helpful on allergy and dietary restrictions and was very knowledgeable on the wine menu. Overall a great Saturday night.

A BIG hit !! Took my Ladies Dinner Group of 10 and everyone enjoyed! Drinks/ appetizers/ foods and desserts all very tasty . Some of us had been to before. For the newbies---they were impressed! Thank you, great job ! Cheers

Food is to kill for. I had the new item: lobster and shrimp with polenta. It was super delicious, highly recommended. My guest had the pasta limone with chicken and she devoured every bit. I love the peach old fashioned. She had the elderflower & pear and the lemon meringue, both rated excellent. Very good service from Chris.
