Fireside Pizza is a cozy and trendy restaurant located in an old firehouse. It serves delicious wood-fired pizzas, including the popular white pizza, Eli BBQ, and the meats pizza. The restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian-friendly salads, such as the Greek salad, and many pizza toppings are vegetarian. With a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff, Fireside Pizza is a unique spot that has been beautifully restored. The interior and exterior charm of the building make it inviting.
Starting as a food truck, Fireside has played a significant role in the improvement of Cincinnati's pizza scene. Since moving to its brick-and-mortar location in 2014, it has become a favorite among locals. The pizza features an excellent crust with nice char and chew, while the sauces have a bit of zip. While there's beer and wine available, iced tea is not offered. The restaurant benefits from being in a low-income neighborhood, allowing for lower rents and fair prices for customers. A 9-inch "personal" pizza is still only 9 or 10 bucks, which remains a great deal in 2024. The counter-ordering system and drink self-service, along with rolls of paper towels on the table, contribute to the casual dining experience. Fireside Pizza is definitely a spot worth visiting again.
