Went to Genki Ramen & Izakaya for dinner on a whim and it DID NOT disappoint! We got the ginger salad, miso soup, edamame, tan tan ramen and chicken hibachi. All items were delicious with generous portions for the price. Our server, as well as the rest of the staff, were very kind and helpful. My husband and I will definitely be adding this spot into our dinner rotation. 10 out of 10, no notes.

Food Ordered: Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, Okonomiyaki Seafood, Pork Bun

Ramen didn’t truly stand out. Wish the broth was more flavorful. Pork Bun was okay. Loved the staff’s recommendation on Okonomiyaki — no complaints there.

The food here is great and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that we've been multiple times when there are a ton of open tables and they ask us to wait to be seated because they only have one server. I get it if the service is going to be slow, but it would be way better to at least sit and wait at a table instead of stand awkwardly in the doorway. Even then, sometimes the service is really slow. But we keep coming back for the food and variety. So hopefully...
