Never have been disappointed, they have the best dairy free desserts I have ever had. Love the cupcakes and the breakfast sandwich!

I order (2) lemon strawberry cupcakes. The icing was cool. The cake taste like wheat bread of some sort. Was charged $8 but bank statement shows $9.

I've been going to this place for years. In my opinion, they have the best vegan cupcakes in Cincinnati. There are always different unique flavors every day as well, which is fun. Even if you aren't vegan, you would like the baked goods. They have savory food as well but I haven't tried it. At the moment, it's take out only.Vegetarian options: Everything there is vegan

Not just baked goods but a small lunch selection as well. Being gluten intolerant I often have trouble finding baked goods I can eat without severe consequences. Happy Chicks had a nice variety of yummy things that I could and did eat. The mocha brownie was amazing! Along with the lavender lemonade cupcake. Take out only folks. The extra space seems like somebody's personal plant obsession and I approve! The associate who helped was friendly and efficient! The hardest and most unpleasant part was the parking. It's Northside so it goes without saying. Happy Chicks is worth the parking difficulties.

Unfortunately we paid for a DF and GF cake. I wouldn’t recommend it.It was a lot of money $45, the design was… disappointing (and I’m being kind here). The 3 kids we tried to feed this to were all confused and wouldn’t eat it. Texture, flavor, design all lacking..listen I don’t like leaving poor reviewsanywhere. But maybe just look around the city for another bakery.I made a quick trip to Kroger and got our rescue cake to save the party.Addition: My kids are unable to have both gluten and dairy. We have had many GF and DF things in our life (including cakes). You are making some rather large assumptions. Telling us were "cruel". We have been in and out of the hospital with our son multiple times because of his digestion and stomach. We did have friends here with the kids though ... because it is a birthday. And they are not restricted... And I at the very least didn't want to let them down. So the cake went home with them.I don't mind the price necessarily but if you can't bake a good cake with out the gluten .. then it is totally ok not to offer that.Looking at other reviews who have also had this problem and seeing how the companies responses are very defensive and rude when not in their favor rather than trying to here their customers out... that screams a red flag to me.

Not my cup of tea as they say. Maybe if I was vegan I would appreciate it

Disappointed. $85 for a vanilla cake and strawberry icing both with less than zero flavor. We all just looked at each other dumbfounded. They have some beautiful cakes on their website so made the mistake of leaving the design up to the artist.Re reply: thank you for adding the strawberries, they did have flavor.

I mean, they tried. I emailed them in advance with asking for a purple lambeth cake and got an email saying “I don’t know what that is can you send a picture”. Then I paid $38 for a tiny cake that did not look like that and was genuinely about the same as an $8 Kroger cake that was really dry with no flavor. It would be good if based on dietary restrictions that was my only option, but if not, it just wasn’t good cake. It genuinely was so disappointing because the bakers seemed sweet and I was excited to shop small but this just wasn’t even good.

My happy place to grab a treat! It is so comforting knowing everything I order is vegan. Grateful that they offer gluten free options, as well. Love their vibes ?

I stopped in for lunch and found that they are carry out only. They have a small food menu, with sandwiches, salads, etc. I got a croissant sandwich, which was pretty good. I also got a couple of cupcakes, which were also pretty good. Updated from previous review on 2023-11-29

I love supporting local businesses and dropped in here to do so . Very few pastries or sweets in the counter to choose from . I had a crumbly tastiness cookie and a bottled drink from the refrigerator, for more than $6. I was disappointed . I remember the counter clerk being pretty indifferent . Onward to other shops.

Was hoping I had found a local gluten free restaurant to support but this unfortunately isn't it. The chickpea nuggets are very mushy and have an aftertaste of being left in the freezer too long. The icing is okay on the cupcakes but the cake itself is too soft and almost taste undone. Super disappointed and will be going back to fresh market for my gluten free snacks I guess.

We got a take away quiche and biscuit sandwich. They were quite small for the price and lacked the flavor punch I was hoping for (the tofu components were a little bland), but still good quality food. Updated from previous review on 2023-10-15

Eh. Overpriced and mediocre goods. My biscuit was as flat as a pancake and crumbly instead of flaky. My muffin was dense and super gummy. It also tasted freezer burnt and given it was warmed up without my consent, it's likely I was given an old muffin from the freezer for $4. I couldn't finish it. Bummer.
