Willie is the man. He’s the owner, but you feel like he’s the guy sitting next to you. He embodies the vibe of the place: friendly, accommodating, and a lover of all things whiskey. I’ll be back. Can’t wait. PS: I hear the food is good too.

I want to preface this review by saying HopScotch has always been a great and fun bar to go to, they have good deals just about every night of the week. I am beyond disgusted with one of the employees Mister, after the first bartender left and he clocked in, he made us show our ID’s again after we clearly had been drinking then denied both of us ripped up a real 21 year old ID and told us to get out of the bar. I suggest management look into this because this is not the first altercation myself or my friends have gotten into with him being absolutely disrespectful.

Absolutely terrible service. Came in Saturday night, April 15 with a group of five. Went to the bar to order drinks. One bartender behind the bar who was not even busy told us he would be with us when he could. I proceeded to stand at the bar for over 20 minutes while he talked to some girls at the end of the bar and then messed around on his phone. He never did return to take our order and we left and went to another place. I will never come back to this place. The bartender working could care less about your customers and is more concerned about socializing.

Coolest bar in Clifton, to get away from the rowdy end of McMillan/Calhoun. It's nestled in the middle next to Mac shack. It's an asset to the college life there, to get a more elevated, chill experience than the likes of other locale. Great date night drinks, great hanging out with friends drinks, great having a conversation drinks. Prices comparable, and this place has a vast array of good stuff. Craft beer, good whiskey selection.

I always liked this location and interior. Now it's even better with a different name, owner & management. They have very good daily specials in addition to a great happy hour. There's a looong bar and lots of beers on tap, plus a wide selection of seltzers and ciders (and obviously liquor). They'll even treat you to a small bag of snacks when they have them (and no, I'm not a doggie lol). The party room - my name for it - in the back has a lot of TVs. They have fun karaoke and DJ music nights (and sometimes trivia). The bartenders were great and I met some friendly locals. Definitely not just another UC area bar.

Fun bar in Clifton with very friendly bartenders and a pretty inviting atmosphere. A good place to hang with friends, and I've heard good things about their karaoke nights. Will be coming back!
