I remember when the corned beef was piled high and was very tastey. My sandwich today was about 3/4 of an inch, fatty, and bland. The potato cake was good. The sandwich, potato, and a diet pepsi was $17.00. Wow, $17.00. Seventeen. Dollars.
if you're looking for a great jewish deli style sandwich, look no further. this place delivered the goods. without question, start with izzy's famous reuben: the bread was as fresh as it gets, the corner beef was sliced thin and generously and the potato pancake was crispy and delicious.
The restaurant is clean and cozy, and the service was prompt and very friendly. I read a lot of reviews before I decided to try Izzy's, and I'm honestly confused by the bad ones. Mostly people complain the "sandwiches aren't stuffed like a NYC deli sandwich." I had a reuben in NYC a couple of months ago. Yep, it was definitely "stuffed", and it cost me $28!!!!!
