Very few places in downtown Cincinnati offer her delicious authentic deli food, with the personality, service and price to back it up. Where American culture is being erased, you can still find it here at the corner of elm Street.

When a deli has two whole pages dedicated to different iterations of the world best rueben, you know you’re in for a treat. \n\nI had the turkey rueben, which was great. The rueben comes with a potato pancake, or switch it to another side if you prefer (definitely just get the potato pancake). \n\nAs stated on their website, some of the equipment and seating may have changed throughout the years, but they are still serving the original recipe from 1901.

The chicken noodle soup was excellent! The sandwhich with the pretzel bun was average. The lady brought over my napkin and silverware wrap and her hands were covered in sauce, hence so was my napkin. Made me wonder about the hygiene here. Overall, so so, with excellent soup.
