All about the beer and the food! Both are excellent which makes up for the atmosphere. Servers are very kind and helpful but it gets busy so patience is a must at this gem in the middle of warehouses!

I went with friends and we shared a few dishes - the bratwurst and pretzels were a total hit, especially with their spicy mustard. The beer list is impressive, with plenty of German brews on tap, and I loved sipping a crisp pilsner under the string lights in their outdoor seating area. Inside, the vibe is warm and lively, with a hint of modern design. The staff were upbeat and quick, making the whole experience feel easy and fun.

Having a mother from Germany and having been raised on everything German, Kantine is like coming home (just don’t tell my mom). The beer is so delicious that it doesn’t sit heavy on the stomach. It’s a given that the food is delicious but the fact that the flavors are so satisfying is what put lunch over the top. If you have ever had kaffee und kuchen in Germany then you will love these deserts! 11 out of 10 starts!!! Prost!!

Truly a Cincinnati Gem! Found Kantine Biergarten a few years back after leaving the Cincinnati Museum. It’s a wonderful Restaurant and Biergarten. They only offer a limit food menu but all is great and 100% German.

I highly recommend Kantine Biergarten to all my family and friends!

The food was wonderful! Our table tried 4 different dishes, and all were unique and delicious. The live jazz music during Sunday brunch was a great bonus.

Amazing food, friendly staff, and fun public tables (or reserve a table for your party). Reservations are recommended for later evening. We were served quickly this time, we arrived at 5:30, but on a previous visit we were told an hour for food and we were too hungry to wait. I can say that it's definitely worth waiting, so plan ahead.

We had a quick lunch and a couple of beers. The food was outstanding and very authentic. Service was great. Staff spoke both German and English. 10/10 I will be coming back.

This place is something wonderful. If one is looking for authentic tasting German food, stop reading and plug this into your directions.
The food brings me right back to Deutschland without the jetlag.
Their bier selection is not extensive, but neither is it in Germany. There are some excellent offerings, though, without falling into the pastiche of what drunkies expect German places to be.
Come to find excellent food, bier, and time to enjoy your experience.
