Keystone's Mac Shack - Cincinnati

Food had some serious potential. Key word being “had.” $9 for the arcade fire and you all can’t even put atleast 1 whole chicken strip in it?! There were 2 bites of chicken and maybe half of a strip of bacon. If I wanted plain Mac and cheese then I would have ordered that and saved money. I am not sure if that is supposed to be the portion sizes the restaurant made standard or the fact that the lone worker was more focused on talking on the phone through her AirPod during my order and then proceeded to ignore me standing there to add some burnt cookies to my order while I was the lone customer in the store. Extremely disappointed.

I went to Mac Shack last week and it was amazing. I was eating my mac and cheese, and got one with jalapenos, and it was a bit too spicy. Danny came to the rescue with a glass of milk and saved my mouth from being on fire. Thank you, Danny, for making my Mac Shack experience unforgettable!

Ive went to Mac Shack for years and have always had a great experience! Danny was very helpful and even put on a song for our kid for us while we were waiting for our food to come out. Will be stopping by here whenever I have the chance!

Drove all the way from Detroit they said they were open, Get there and they're closed for a staff party . Booooo 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅

My boyfriend and I came in on 10/09/2025 around 2 PM. There was only one girl working when we walked in. It was our first time here, and we were trying to figure out what to order and just make sure nothing had pork in it, but she wasn’t helpful at all — if anything, she was rude and dismissive. When I asked if one of the meals came with regular chicken or fried chicken, she got visibly irritated. I politely asked if it could be swapped for fried, and she seemed angry about the question.

On top of that, she was on the phone the entire time with someone on speaker, which made the atmosphere even worse. By the time we got our food, it honestly tasted terrible — I don’t know if it was just made out of frustration, but it was not good.

We’re always respectful to restaurant staff and always tip well, but this kind of experience really makes people not want to come back.

To the owners — i’m not being hostile.. Running a restaurant must be hard, but your staff’s customer service and professionalism seriously need improvement.
