I need more places like this to still be around. Untouched, by the modern craze of sleek design. Unphased by the march of progress. Like a cliff balking at the endless lashing waves, unbeknownst to its own slow erosion. There were no preconceived ideas of a grander purpose. No regurgitated corporate slurry about commitment or family. Long John silvers is a place you go, to shove food in your face, and leave. This one was, at least.

Stopped twice this week. Both times the lobby door wasn't unlocked, short on employees, tarter sauce empty, ice empty, menu board confusing. Food I received was excellent but everything else pointed to a business that's not long for this world.
Went through at 11 no one taking orders, had saw 2 workers outside smoking. Finally went to door to go in & door was still locked & it was 11:10 I loveJohn's but will never go back there again Saturday when I was there the 14th.

Ordered my daughters bday dinner Saturday at 730pm they charged my card twice 46.00 then called and cancelled our order because they where closing. No money back no food no nothing no explanation for why their hrs say open till 10pm but closed before 8 pm still waiting for my 2nd refund they only sent one. Luckily Ihad money to buy my kids dinner still there is a lot of people that aren't that fortunate and would of been out with no dinner because of their mistakeDo better why can you take money right away but it takes a week to refund

Family and I went through drive through. We were the first ones to be helped. Asked for Fry's to be fresh....paid at window and lady said " sorry, but we will have to have you wait here at the window for 4-5minutes"...we thought...ok, no biggie...well, cars keps lining up behind us, and 4-5 minutes turned into 10, and that 10 turned into 20 minutes. We ordered ONE platter! A number 12! No drinks! Literally in ONE little box Fry's, hush puppies, 3 pieces or fish and two chicken( switched out a chicken for an extra fish) ...and it took them over 20 minutes to make it. My mom who usually doesn't get perturbed said as we drove away, " it doesn't usually bother me, but it bothers me whenever it looks like a bunch of workers are just standing around and chit chatting lollygagging around ". And I agree! So, to sum it it up, we just finished eating. The food was hot , it was fresh, but it SHOULD be like that anyway! We were missing a hush puppy though. I ate part of a half piece of chicken and threw the rest away bc it tasted funny, which is a first for me. I rarely eat here....so, it's worth eating here if your food is fresh and you don't have to wait for over 20 minutes to get it! It was bad enough for us, I felt bad for the people behind us too!

If we could have actually gotten dinner here the many, many, many times we have tried your business would be much better. We look on the internet to see that you're open and we have plenty of time to get there well before closing. Arrive and lights off. Nobody there. Still a half hour before posted closing time. We miss it but we are about done trying.
