Bottom line: City BBQ ribs are better than Montgomery Inn ribs! Don’t get me wrong, both are very good, but City BBQ ribs are made with a real BBQ process. There is a distinct difference in the flavor of the meat, and the pink smoke ring is evident. You don’t see that in MontyInn ribs. Atmosphere and service go to MontyInn, but City BBQ has better tasting food. Go Bucks!

City Barbeque is an awesome place with great food and friendly service. The restaurant has a cheery atmosphere, and the staff is known for being super friendly and helpful. Guests have reported that the cashier and manager are professional, making the ordering process enjoyable. Whether picking up pre-ordered food or dining in, the experience is consistently enjoyable. Menu highlights include the Bama chicken sandwich, which is tender with a tangy taste, and the pulled pork. Sides like baked beans, green beans with ham, corn pudding, mac n cheese, and potato salad add to the meal. The meats are all so good it's hard to choose. The cornbread is Grandma approved and she loved it. The chicken was loved. The desserts are nice size and yummy, with chocolate cake and banana pudding being very good. City Barbeque also offers options for drinks, including soda fountain drinks and beer. The food is worth it.
