“Today I traveled from Florida to Cincinnati. My sister and I wanted to get a bite to eat . We didnt want to get fast food that you could get on every corener . While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. “I would recommend Velvet Smoke BBQ in white oak. One of the best bbq places I have ever had and it comes out of a small mom and pop shop. The ribs, burnt ends, and the wings are by far my favorite. Best BBQ in town, and I would recommend it to anyone that I know. If you are in the Cincinnati, OH area you need to check out this place!! 10/10!“

“I have been staying at The Phelps for business. I frequently get in late, and quite frankly do not feel like going out. The Phelps Bar is the perfect solution. I have been staying at The Phelps Hotel on and off for roughly a month so far. I have had most of their menu items and have yet to have one that has not been excellent. They recently changed their food and drink menu, so there are many new items to try. They have an outstanding "Signature Drink" Menu. My favorite is the Fig & Rosemary Old Fashioned that is hands down the very best Old Fashioned I have had anywhere, and that includes The Greenbrier Resort. The staff are all amazing and help to make the experience even better. My hat is off to Mark (I think he is the manager), Kat and Tynisa who run the bar, and David the cook. If you find yourself in the Downtown Cincinnati area close to the stadiums, then you really should try The Phelps Bar. You will not be disappointed.“

The wings were outstanding and you can order them per wing instead of it being a fixed amount, which is always my preference. This was my fist time there and I would recommend it to anyone. It's a great location, the inside is really cool with the exposed barrels displayed, and it was very clean. Plenty of TVs inside the bar area too. Our group will be going back again soon.“

“I remember trying this place when I first moved to Cincinnati because it’s conveniently right around the corner and wanted to try it based on all the good reviews, I remember disliking half of my meal but liking the other half , I remember the macaroni and cheese being pretty good and the cornbread being the best I’ve ever had fast forward to today and still kind of mixed reviews because once again I liked some parts and disliked other parts , the macaroni this time wasn’t that great it was very oily ? Potato salad was good and the hot dog was good , the Jamaican beef patty was tough asf , cornbread was decent , I’ll probably try again as I always give places a three strikes and your out type of thing not gonna say it’s great but it’s good I think I just need to keep trying different things from them til I get a niche for something I like“
