“Today I traveled from Florida to Cincinnati. My sister and I wanted to get a bite to eat . We didnt want to get fast food that you could get on every corener . While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. A MUST STOP....... THANK YOU !!“

“City BBQ Eastgate, just catered our National business event for 150 people. They could not have done a better job. From Jason, who helped pick out a menu and arrange everything. To Hillary and LeBron, who set up, served a full pig plus more, cleaned up, and even helped us break down our event at the end of the evening. “In town for one night and wanted to eat local….what a great decision Alabama Que was. I had the smoked chicken and pulled pork with mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad. I had the apple cobbler for dessert (for free!). Without question, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. And barbecue?…the best I’ve had. So, if you’re in Cincinnati and in the mood for barbecue, THIS is where you eat.“

“I would recommend Velvet Smoke BBQ in white oak. One of the best bbq places I have ever had and it comes out of a small mom and pop shop. The ribs, burnt ends, and the wings are by far my favorite. Best BBQ in town, and I would recommend it to anyone that I know. If you are in the Cincinnati, OH area you need to check out this place!! 10/10!“

The sides? Not so much. The Mac and Cheese was dry not cheesy, lacked Flavor, and so did the greens 4.5/10. However, I will be back for the meat? People were very friendly and it definitely was a nice atmosphere.“

“I have been staying at The Phelps for business. I frequently get in late, and quite frankly do not feel like going out. The Phelps Bar is the perfect solution. I have been staying at The Phelps Hotel on and off for roughly a month so far. I have had most of their menu items and have yet to have one that has not been excellent. They recently changed their food and drink menu, so there are many new items to try. They have an outstanding "Signature Drink" Menu. My favorite is the Fig & Rosemary Old Fashioned that is hands down the very best Old Fashioned I have had anywhere, and that includes The Greenbrier Resort. The staff are all amazing and help to make the experience even better. My hat is off to Mark (I think he is the manager), Kat and Tynisa who run the bar, and David the cook. If you find yourself in the Downtown Cincinnati area close to the stadiums, then you really should try The Phelps Bar. You will not be disappointed.“

However, 3of7 wings still had father remnants attached and was not pleasant. Fries were also delicious! Will still eat here again! Other BBQ options look delicious!“

“Great place for all you can eat korean bbq and hot pot! I got the AYCE hot pot option with my soup base being the special korean broth, which was mild in seasoning but it was alright. For meats, we gor brisket, rib eye and beef tongue, and they cooked pretty quickly in our soups. There was a great selection of apetizers, sides, ans sauces, so take advantage of those. This was a solid place to try or satisfy your cravings for either kbbq or hotpot.“

“Food was great, their brussels spouts are just incredible and their take on fries is really unique and delicious.Because of how loud and echoey the Element Eatery is, it was hard to understand the person at the counter, and the chairs SUCK. Parking is also really weird.“

“This place was delicious! There is a lot of selection to put into your bowl. Veggies, proteins, sauces, and noodles and it all was fresh. They are quick and the food was cooked to perfection . It was cheap as well. The atmosphere is like a cheap Chinese restaurant. But service for drinks was good and you get free soup with the meal

“YouTube suggested this Malaysian restaurant and I am glad that we drove to give a try. It is the best and authentic Malaysian restaurant I had so far. Server is so friendly and introduced food perfectly. Hot teh Tarik served with warm temperature so you could enjoy the drink right away, it is a sweet touch. Roti canai is good, sambal is spicy and lentil curry is good. Curry noodle has spicy kick with a touch of coconut milk and the chicken is nice. Noodle with bbq pork and wanton is delicious. Bbq pork is authentic and delicious. Nasi lemak with beef rendang doesn’t disappoint as well. Beef rendang is cook to perfection, tender with all the spice flavor blended perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you miss Malaysian food.“

“I stumbled upon this place by accident. I was waiting to get food at an oh their place and smelled their bbq. I thought $8 was responsible for their rib tips. They gave good flavor however I dislike the way they are reheated because some of the pieces became burnt after he reheated them. Overall I would go back.“

“The forty-five minute drive was worth what I just experienced. I cannot express enough, my feelings of appreciation for this delicious, affordable, undiscovered gem of a restaurant. The potato salad, let’s start there. For years, I haven’t tasted anything that compares to the authentic Amish style potato salad, served throughout northeast Ohio. Today was my lucky day. Not sure what the secret ingredients are, but the creamy, consistent flavors, combined with added bits of peppers and the perfectly textured potatoes resulted in the best potato salad I ever had! Add to that a bountiful serving of saucy, tender rib tips and yams so good, you’d think it was Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to try the peach cobbler next time.“
