Everything was enjoyable. Service was excellent. Food was great - shrimp & grits for me, scallops and shrimp risotto for others in the party.

We had reservations for 5 PM, right when the restaurant opened, but they warmly welcomed us in early—a kindness we greatly appreciated, given the frigid wind outside. It didn’t help that we were dressed for the ballet rather than winter weather, making the cozy atmosphere all the more inviting.
From the start, our server, Brandon L., struck the perfect balance of attentiveness without being overbearing, exuding a natural talent for hospitality. He greeted us warmly, ensured our drinks arrived before we even thought to ask, and even apologized for the music not playing when we first arrived—though we hadn’t even noticed. True to his word, within 30 seconds, the music was on, setting the perfect ambiance.
As first-time visitors, we were grateful for his eloquent menu recommendations. He graciously provided wine samples for my cousin before she committed to a choice, and his suggestions did not disappoint. I had been looking forward to dining here for quite some time, and the experience exceeded my expectations.
The food was spectacular. The filet was tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. The medley of mushrooms, asparagus, and Parmesan potato gratin complemented the meal beautifully. I also enjoyed a cosmo—or two (wink)—which were expertly crafted and swiftly served.
Brandon took the time to ask what brought us out, and we shared that it was a girls' night before the ballet. When dinner was over, he inquired if we had time for dessert. When we said yes, he graciously offered us stuffed beignets on the house as a welcome for first-time guests. I have to say, I would have happily paid for them—they were flawless.
We lingered and chatted after our meal, and Brandon never once made us feel rushed, which is something I truly appreciate. While we were mindful not to overstay and impact his earnings, we comfortably relaxed for 10–20 minutes after settling the bill. The restaurant's ambiance made it easy to enjoy our time—it wasn’t too noisy, nor was it too quiet. It struck the perfect balance for a date night, a celebration, or, in our case, three women dressing up for a fun evening before a show.
I would absolutely rate this restaurant a 10/10. The hospitality was outstanding, the food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time, and the overall experience far surpassed places like Embers in Kenwood and other overpriced establishments. LouVino truly blew them out of the water and at a much more reasonable price point.

I wish I could remember our servers name! But he was a bartender and server and he was amazing, honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever had anywhere. We came for an early valentines dinner and have never been here before. Our server was so knowledgeable about the wine selection and helped me out a lot with it since I don’t know anything about wine. The food was delicious, I had the goat cheese and basil gnocchi and my bf had the chicken sandwich and we both loved it. 5/5 loved the night we had:)

I recently hosted a holiday gathering at this restaurant with my board of directors and it went smoothly and was enjoyed by all. I reserved the Cellar space and the entire planning process was efficient and I can't say enough how wonderful it was to work with Marissa Graham. She offered thoughtful suggestions, and worked with me to make sure that our event was enjoyable by all guests, including those who were vegetarians. I'd highly recommend this space for larger gatherings!

Hosted our company event here in the bar area (they do have a private room downstairs which looked nice too); it was wonderful! We had a pre-selected menu and it was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for what we needed. Marissa is also a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend.

Decent meal. Had Shrimp and grits in a tomato base sauce, little odd. Ok. Atmosphere was good, service was excellent. Wine choices were diverse and numerous, good quality. Appetizers were solid, nothing special, but tasty. Desserts were average, just OK. Ehh, on the fence if I would return. For price of meal, probably not. Expect something phenomenal for $60 per person, at least one food item.

We were there BLINK weekend, so maybe that impacted service. Disappointed all around. They had a smaller menu of only 4 apps and 4 meals to "keep things moving with the anticipated crowd". All the things I had been looking forward to were not available. Dining room was about only 1/4 full but it still took 30 minutes to get food. Gnocchi looked like they had split an order in half, joke portion for $25. Disappointed all around. Server couldn't remember the seasonal beer offering and didn't bother to find out because "we're usually out of it anyway".

Set up a Birthday celebration here . We had complications with my party and the staff here really looked out for us. Everything from service to the food was A+ so me and my friends actually came back 2 more times during the same weekend. Best restaurant in Cincinnati, hands down!

Trenton was attentive, provided excellent service, and had great energy. We got brunch here before going wedding dress shopping, and Trenton helped us start our day with laughter and smiles!
