Let me start by saying that I have been to a McAlisters once before in Indianapolis. I loved it. When I saw one near me in Blue Ash, Ohio I was excited. So I decided to stop for lunch on a snowy day. I was the only one one there at 12:15 on a Saturday. I was greeted by an indifferent and seemingly annoyed employee. I placed my order for the spicy Southwest chicken. She asked what side I wanted. I'll probably suggest elsewhere in the future when my friends want to go to McAlister's.
The first time I ordered take-away, I'd gotten a salad w/ italian dressing, and a half-sandwich. The half-sandwich was supposed to come with gravy, but didn't. Or at least I thought it hadn't. The gravy looks remarkably like the golden italian dressing you might get at, say, LaRosas.
