Eclectic cuisine in an urban atmosphere. The braised rabbit is excellent. The skewers are also very flavorful. In fact, most everything is great but this is definitely tapas style. Order 2-3 plates if you come in hungry. Still, not particularly pricey and the food quality is memorable. Order some saki and “Kanpai, gaijin!”
Boy oh boy what a great meal. The server was very knowledgeable and practiced proper etiquette. We ordered most everything off the menu and was not disappointed. Most notably the mushrooms and the smelt were my favorite.
Food is delicious and great value. Best sweet potato fries (shoe string sweet potato fries!) ever. Would gladly take any of my foodie friends from out of town to this restaurant.
For reference, I had the sweet potato fries, bread with pickle butter, braised rabbit, and petite steak filet. All of them were great.
