From my first experience at Pilar back in 2023 and beyond ~ this place has always been a sweet getaway right in the middle of our city you can count on. Cute atmosphere, gorgeous imaginative and quality cocktails. Definitely a must for your visiting friends (even just for one) on your city tour ~ or just pop in and chat with the delightful staff about what they’re working on lately ~ we love pilar!

The bartender was so great!
Bartenders were very nice and welcomed us a soon as we came in. Bartenders recommended drinks that were very good. 😊 glad to have a positive experience. Seems friendly to anyone, would recommended the lavender drink.

The bar at Pilar is particularly noteworthy, with bartender Chris serving up delicious cocktails, including their famous daquiris like the Pineapple Upside Down Daiquiri. The drinks are fabulous, and the restaurant also offers an extensive tap list with unbelievably affordable happy-hour beer prices. Pilar is conveniently located on Court Street and has a dark, moody environment with a steady playlist of laid-back Caribbean beats. It’s a fun, intimate little bar with imaginative themed cocktails named for Hemingway characters, perfect for impromptu conversations. With live music every other Friday and bingo nights, Pilar is a hidden gem that should be on the list of best cocktail places in Cincy.
