New Krishna Indian Cuisine

Used to be an okay place, at least the food was decent. The service was always bad. There's always a cranky old woman at the door greeting customers. As of late, the food is also pretty bad. Tasteless slop. Used to be to be able to tolerate the rude service but no more.

The Chicken Tandoori is decent. It seems like frozen chicken for all other dishes is cooked separately from the sauce, so it lacks that deep, rich flavor and taste terrible. But I make it work by using the sauce as a dip with naan.

The restaurant is clean, a bit dark inside, but I actually like the lighting — it feels cozy and comfortable. The male staff are great: they work quickly, clean tables fast, and are polite and helpful.

The biggest issue — and the reason I’ve additionally reduced stars — is the woman working there. She is consistently rude, mean, and not customer-oriented. No matter how nice the experience is during the meal, she ruins the impression on the way out. It’s frustrating, because the rest of the staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and she undoes all of that with her attitude. Even if she’s the owner or part of the management, acting superior doesn’t do the place any favors — in fact, it does the opposite.

In short: ok food, great male staff, cozy vibe — but one person’s behavior really lets the whole experience down.

First time here and it was absolutely AMAZING. My fiance is Punjabi and he loves the food here he says it reminds him of home. We didn't order buffet we had some chenne masala and aloo paratha and ghobi paratha. All food was fresh, hot and delicious and perfectly spiced. We will definitely be back.

New Krishna used to be my favorite Indian buffet to go to in town. They, unfortunately, are no longer able to run the buffet due to covid-related reasons. However，I still wanted to give an honorary 5-star as thanks for the memories.

Update years later: The buffet is back!

We visited for weekend lunch buffet. Food was not tasty at all. We were told that will serve whatever we need on the table but extremely slow service. They didn’t give even adequate cutlery and had to ask again and again but still they were reluctant in giving. Ambience was okay.

All in all a very bad experience. Would never visit again.

This is a very good spot to grab buffet for lunch during the work week. While the Chicken Curry is very good, my only criticism is that the Chicken Makhani tastes like it's missing something. It lacks the richness that I'd expect from the dish based on other Indian places that I have tried.

The best Indian buffet in Ohio! No one else can do any better than them as I have been so far! The flavor, the variety, the quality and the friendly service. I would give them 10 stars instead of 5!

Went with my sister and we had the coconut chicken from the buffet and it was delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and always had smiles. We will definitely be returning!

Best Indian food in the surrounding area. You can really count on them to be consistent, and the portions are amazing. Nice inside seating if you want to dine in, and very quick phone ordering for pickup. Nice people!

I’ve been coming here for many years for both dine-in and carry out. I’ve ordered from the menu and have feasted on the buffet. The buffet is top notch and always offers a nice variety. The flavors/spices are excellent. The staff are always accommodating and friendly. New Krishna remains my all-time favorite Indian restaurant!

I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. I placed an order and was told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. After waiting patiently, I went to pick it up—only to find out that the food still wasn’t ready. They apologized and promised to hand-deliver it themselves as a courtesy. I appreciated the gesture at the time, but unfortunately, the food never arrived. No follow-up, no update, no explanation.

Waiting over an hour with nothing to show for it is frustrating enough, but the lack of communication made it worse. I was really looking forward to trying their food, but this kind of service is unacceptable. I hope they improve their reliability and customer service in the future.
