Everything is pretty good and generously portioned. The Fish Log is what they’re known for but their chili and sandwiches are also really good. It reminds me of your grandpas bar, even has a couple lazy boy recliners.

If you're looking for a cheap dive bar, this is a great spot across from Spring Grove Cemetery. Food is serviceable; service is friendly buy not quick; the prices cannot be beat. As of today, Old Timber is at least temporarily closed.

I really wanted to like this place. I liked the people and the vibe. But... That fish log was DRY. I can't imagine how to dry out fish that badly without extensive use of heat lamps or microwaves. My wife couldn't even choke hers down, and went back out for fish from somewhere else. That was a waste of $30. Really disappointing... I'll stick to Lake Nina from now on.

I’ve never had a better burger in my life. I just wish they were open during the weekend because it’s 45 minutes away from where I live so it’s hard to get there during the week. The food is to die for, and the atmosphere of a small place is even better. Seeing the historic on the inside was breathtaking
