The Quarter Bistro Reviews
We just had to share a huge thank you to Quarter Bistro for making our son’s night so special!
Our 17-year-old son took his girlfriend there for homecoming dinner on Saturday. We had told him to make sure he was ready — check prices, reservations, have enough to tip, the whole parent talk. He chose Quarter Bistro because it’s a place they always drive past, and it felt special to them even though they’d never been.
He came home absolutely glowing! He said...read full review
Absolutely brilliant meal. Lovely fine-dining experience with a chef that nailed every dish.
Amazing food and great service. Everything we ate melted in your mouth! We started with crab cakes and shrimp tempura finished with wagyu steak tacos and a filet. Hands down the best food we’ve had for a long time. We will be back!

The Quarter Bistro provides a lovely setting for diners, offering both outdoor patio seating and an intimate indoor room. The atmosphere is described as cozy, making it easy to carry on conversations with friends. Outdoor dining is noted as arguably the best in town. The food is excellent and has become more creative in recent years, with interesting specials. The lobster bisque was good but not great, while the tuna tartare tacos were a hit, though some have found the taco shells a bit stiff. New favorites include the fantastic gazpacho and a very good Caesar salad, which featured anchovy and boiled egg. The crabcakes remain enjoyable, and the duck dish, although poorly plated, was praised for its taste. The 18-hour short ribs were adored, and the halibut special was noted to be good but a tad dry. Fried shrimp had a light crust and were large, tender, and sweet, though the green beans were critiqued for being too oily and salty. Service is consistently superb, with friendly and attentive staff like Caroline, contributing to an overall exceptional dining experience. Many believe the quality of food and ambiance make the slightly high prices worthwhile. Guests often leave looking forward to their next visit, indicating a strong desire to return. They often mention that The Quarter never disappoints and that it outclasses other dining options downtown. Recent reviews highlight the restaurant’s ability to create special moments, such as making a young couple’s night unforgettable with thoughtful gestures, and praise the staff and sous chef for their excellent work, especially mentioning perfectly prepared salmon and the favorite spare rib tacos. Overall, The Quarter Bistro consistently delivers great meals, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
