Hands down the best restaurant in downtown. Cash only, no annoying music, extremely reliable service, good quality food... always there for you and a staple for the lunch crowd long after every other shop called it quits.
This is the only non-chain spot left in downtown where you can have a full sit-down meal for less than $10.

Great service. Great dinner food. Great french fries. It's cash only. It feels like stepping back in time ( in a good way ). Fast and friendly service. A great experience all around. The interior is 'basic dinner', so if you're looking for fancy atmosphere, this is not the place.

Now this place is what modern society needs to move back towards. Double deckers are so tall that they had to raise the ceilings in this place. That was a lie, but they are awesome. No ranch at this place which is not a big deal because the fries are always fresh. But no ranch here does kinda make you think… if the fries are high quality, is ranch not the best dipping sauce? Because ketchup holds its own very well. I don’t know just something to ponder I suppose. LONG. LIVE. RED FOX GRILL.

Everyone knows about the chili, but the really slept on Cincinnati food specialty is the double decker sandwich, and this place does them right. Its been around forever (I remember when it had a smoking section) and hasn't changed one thing in the time I've been going there. Definitely bring someone from out of town here and watch them try to figure out how to eat one of the sandwiches without unhinging their jaw. The food is exactly what you'd expect with a place with this many Formica tables, and the service is fantastic.

This is a great hidden Gem which has been downtown Cincy for over 65 years. Large menu with reasonable prices, service is nice and friendly. The bacon cheeseburger and fries are very tasty, and I will be back for sure when in the area.
