Some of the best tacos and tostadas I've had in the US outside of Texas and California. The chorizo is my favorite and the queso is an absolute must get. The decor is awesome and the staff is always friendly and helpful but the line can be long at lunch and service can be slow if they also have a lot of online orders. Mazunte is probably recognized as a more posh Mexican restaurant than the competitors. Service is good, bathrooms are clean, nice place for lunch break to refresh! The food has the proper ingredients. The flavor and seasoning are not over-done. However, I cannot give it 5 stars, I wasn’t wowed, I’ve had Mexican (I’m Mexican from So-Cal) were each bite I was in AWE. Still mazunte is just about right!

. This tiny taqueria is a gem. The food is fresh and sublimely delicious!. I LOVE THIS PLACE !. The Guacamole is great.. The Camarones Tacos (shrimp tacos) features 3 small soft tacos with tender, boiled shrimp, shredded cabbage, guac, and the most wonderful Tamarind sauce (sweet and fruity)..
