For one if a customers food was bad and not acceptable. It needs to be refunded. And investigate it. They could of looked at the fish and seen something was not right. my husband hardly ate any of it. The breading super thick and the inside of the cod fish was like mashed potatoes. mush
When I became a single dad, I relied on forming habits to get through the struggle and adjusting to a new way of life. One of these new habits was Monday nights going to the public library, going to the park and having dinner at Red Squirrel. Over the next 2.5 years, this pattern became a tradition. Ordered 2 meals. My meal was E-5 goetta, and goetta was burnt, while waiting started eating the potatos and eggs, waitress got another goetta and was burnt. The Red Squirrel restaurant offers a mix of experiences. The service is generally praised, with the staff described as "super nice and sweet" and going "above and beyond." Many customers appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the staff's ability to make guests feel welcome. The food is well-received, with items like the turkey on rye, BBQ Grippos, and Roast Beef & Egg sandwich mentioned positively. The grilled cheese sandwich is also noted as being great, and the fries and soups are described as phenomenal. However, there are some concerns about the lack of functioning high chairs, which makes the restaurant less kid-friendly, especially for families with young children. One customer shared a story about their long-standing tradition of visiting on Monday nights, highlighting the welcoming nature of the staff and the comfort of the environment, which has changed over time with new ownership and less warmth. Overall, the Red Squirrel provides a good dining experience with room for improvement in the child-friendly amenities and maintaining its friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
