This place is absolutely amazing! 4th generation, authentic as it comes, Rena cooks all the sauces and desserts. What a fantastic find and it’s worth going out of your way. Such a great place…
pros: atmosphere is great, service was pretty good, starters (soup, garlic bread, salad) were tasty, a good cappuccino.
cons: the actual mains were absolutely terrible. we got veal marsala and it was suuuper sweet and the sauce was very starchy. veal picanti was also starchy and sauce was flavorless (somehow the capers didn't even taste like anything??). linguine with clams was watery and tasted of nothing. everything needed seasoning. red sauce was sweet and reminded...

An Italian restaurant that makes fresh Italian food that has been there for over 1oo years. This is not the Americanized Italian restaurant with the initials O.G. Huge portions and their meals come with soup and salad and bread. Several different kinds of sauces to choose from. This place is so authentic you expect an Italian singer to come out playing an accordion.
