This was our once a month luncheon. I love the decor. It's so bright and welcoming. The food was good. The Grippo Chicken Wings were cooked perfectly. My only concern is when we first arrived, the staff looked at us and didn't say a word. We didn't know if we seated ourselves, or waited to place our orders, or what? After waiting for awhile. A young lady came to the cash register and cashed someone out. She then looked at us. I asked her about the process. She explained and proceeded with taking our orders. Restaurants must understand customer service. A simple hello, "I'll be right with you" would have meant so much. The other concern is; if it is crowded, they only have one ladies toilet. That could be a problem

This is not a business as usual eatery, It's a soul food restaurant that prepares fresh hot food, seasoned well, from scratch and delicious with a clean, safe and comfortable environment. The owner is great and visible works very hard to make sure your experience is one that will make you return. This place is my go to for the chili wings and fried whiting hands down the best in cincy. Don't take my word for it, try it for yourself.....

The food is the best I have had in a long time cannot wait to come back. The gravy that was on the mashed potatoes needs it’s own spot on the menu. The food was seasoned perfectly and Everyone was so polite

We stopped in at lunch time during a recent competition at the Cintas center. I ordered the catfish, greens, mashed potatoes, and corn bread. Everything was good, the greens are just OK. It took forever for the food to come. We nearly missed our next event because it took so long. I did really enjoy the catfish.

Service is a little slow but the food is great!! I have been twice. Once on a Friday evening to dine in and again on a Sunday afternoon for take out. Sunday was so busy there was no room to dine in. Dine in and take out were very busy, that's a good thing!

The smothered chopped turkey was soooo good. I also really enjoyed my red beans & rice and collard greens on the side. And the sweet tea to wash it down. Hit the spot perfectly when I was hankering for some southern cooking. We will definitely be back to try out some of their other dishes.

Best soul food I've had in Cincinnati, hands down, and I've tried a few different places. Catfish was very well seasoned; not too salty or peppery, and had a nice crunch to it but wasn't burnt. Greens were nice and flavorful. Mac and cheese was delicious. It had the good crispy top and was still cheesy. Seasoning on it was great too. I'd been looking for the right soulfood place since I moved here and I finally found it. Salute to the chef. Most definitley will be back.
